Towering overhead at 6'10", you could easily make a case that there's no bigger blues musician than Big Mike Griffin.
Big Mike comes from a proud tradition of journeyman blues musicians. He has performed on stages across North America and Europe; every place from juke joints and roadhouses to Turner Field and Riverfront Stadium.
Big Mike has also been a biker for more than 30 years. His love of both music and motorcycles spawned a new type of Motormusic that has been widely accepted as a new and exciting form of #BluesRock.
Born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma, Big Mike was introduced to music at an early age. "My Dad played so there was always a guitar or fiddle laying around the house. It seems like I've been playing as long as I've been alive." Later, he began listening to blues artists like T-Bone Walker, Paul Butterfield, and Mike Bloomfield. His blues education was further enhanced by late night highway trips to Texas to catch legends like Freddie King, Albert King, and Albert Collins.

When I see dislikes on a track that sounds good I wonder what kind of music people who do this listen too, the whole production was first class and when I was playing some blues and this came on he said that was outstanding, he has heard many blues recordings and live music , he also has a vast collection of this kind of music so over many years has a knowledge and this impressed him .

I mean, How can it die when there are so many very keen listeners, and performers all too ready to pour their hearts and souls out to us. We have to thank them also. To all the Legends, Masters and Giants who have gone before them, who have left us, left us speechless and emotionally stirred. Sometimes, it's very difficult to know What makes the Blues so Blues. Is it the music? or the lyrics? certainly the performers, and of course the instruments. We, ourselves even contribute to it by bringing our emotions/deep rooted emotions to light, through a song. I keep coming back to this every now and then, whenever I feel like it and it’s usually at a late hour, accompanied by a cigarette and a glass of single malt, served neat. And there I am, sitting on the porch, sipping out of the glass, either watching the stars or the city lights and listening to this masterpiece. Quite envious of the people I hear in the background for being able to experience this in performance in person! I can’t thank you enough for sharing this incredible creation!
