What I have learnt is holding up on the d-pad (with boost button) or left thumb stick depends on what kind keeps you speeding up but if you try to turn it slows you down which is weird 😂
Hah! This is awesome! It was such a long time since I saw this game.. I'd sit for hours & restart whenever I made a misstake in the middle of the map. Nobody got close to my score back then & I used a very similar path that you did, except that you added a bunch of callbacks. I didn't know you could do that :O I'd love to go and check those old scores again.
make sure you hold jump + the direction you plan on spinning for a while before going into your jump. this is called "prewinding" and is probably the most important part also, make sure you're not in switch stance. switch stance makes you flip slower... the red "S" in the bottom right will be visible if you are in switch stance, do a 180 to flip back to normal last, your character choice might be the difference. mac, kaori, JP, and seeiah all have the fastest flips.

When landing on a rail sideways as a character with goofy stance, you enter switch. Switch greatly reduces flip speed and essentially makes any goofy footed character completely unviable. Of the four characters with 49 tricks (Mac, Kaori, Seeiah, JP), Seeiah and JP are goofy footed and thus are unusable (not to mention their ubertricks aren't even close to Mac in terms of utility). Kaori is the next best option but, like Seeiah and JP, has terrible ubertricks by comparison to Mac. All that stuff combined is the reason to use Mac

@charc0al_tv prewind tricks for a couple seconds before taking off. play as mac/kaori/jp/seeiah, do not flip in switch stance.
What I don't understand is over EIGHT-HUNDRED-THOUSAND PEOPLE have seen 4.6 million points where yours only got 0.5× views or something like that

this one used dolphin 5.0, which is the most recent stable release
Yeah i use it but i Get 6 FPS on 10% speed and that kinda makes it boring to play on that speed

there are other alternatives you can find online - from what I can tell, dolphin is the most stable one out there and has the most features
