I've always been a huge Ford fan, so I went and purchased an HG Kingswood as my first car......186, 3 on tree, light green. I later bought an LH Torana 202 SL with T- bar auto and cassette player. Later I got a VB Commodore sedan 202 also with auto in gold with a horrendous all - tan interior. I still have all three cars. Yes I'm a big Ford fan. I respect everyone who preserves the old ones.
The Tank Fairlane replaced the Ford Customline in Australia in 1959, and ran through until the end of 1961, when they were replaced by the compact Fairlane.
