Hey Don I just wanted to thank you. I sit and watch your videos at lunch and they landed me the perfect job with about 4,000 dollars more than I expected. Listen to this guy knows what he's talking about.
I had a great resume. I do an outstanding job on everything I do but I felt very intimidating for a job interview. your videos helped me a lot to bust my self confidence. I just got hired and I can't thank you enough.
Don, I watched all your videos, had my interview today and absolutely SMASHED IT!! I was totally prepared, related everything about me to the job, used great language as inspired by you! I'm pretty sure I have the job! Thank you very much!
i got this question today and even after watching these videos i bombed hard. however after the stumble and towards the 'do you have any questions' part of the interview i kind of recovered by asking good questions, made good conversation with the interviewer and built good rapport. all interviewers are different so if you stumble make sure you dont fall flat and you can try to recover! just dont give up on yourself, when i got caught with this q i almost gave up but i kept with it.
@TheAtomBuster I used to think that way many years ago, but what you need to do is use the experience you do have - doesn't have to be from a job, could be volunteer. Everyone has some kind of experience, even if they have been sitting in front of the TV for 20 years. I encourage you to dig deep and you'll find something. If I were interviewing you and you said "not much" I'd say "good-bye." but if you told me something, anything, you'd have a better chance of progressing.
Yes, when I'm out of work(and hopefully that will not happen again) I will first turn to your videos. I'm 54 and hoping to make it to 65. Have a good day Don!
Hi Don, I need your help in reasoning, as i have already quit my job and its 23 days now i have been looking for a new one. What reason can i give while facing the upcoming interviews. To be open i quit my job, because it was pretty monotonous and i was not open to learn new thing. Please help me out.
Hi John,I want 2 know how should I answer these question. how is ur written skills. I tell the employer n da past (I'm a grad student) that I haven't been signed to multiple business reports tat I have done well on, but I always have to double check my work. I don't know that by telling them this I messed up the questions or not? *I have a learning disability; therefore I have 2 ALWAYS CHECK MY WRITING* I really want 2 climb that corporate ladder but I feel like I could b telling them to much?
hi Don, thank you so much. your videos have helped me A LOT. really. i am right now on 2nd step in job interview. I got another question: how to write resume if my experience isnt relevant for particular job description. even though should i write complete resume with abroad experience, if i search for exampe in austria in private sector but my experience was in public sector in russia. .. excuse for my english. hope, u get it. thx in advance. Hello Don my wife and I love your videos, we are currently in the process of trying to move to Florida. I'm a Massage therapist and it's just been hectic trying to even get a interview for a position. Every time I apply for a position they send me the automated email saying that they chose other candidates. Do you have any suggestions? Same thing is also happening with my wife.
Hi Don, I am a fresh graduate here in the Philippines, and I don't have any work experience yet but my on the job training. So how will I answer this very tough question? Hoping for your response. Good day! :)
