The ruling on the field......of out at the plate...............is confirmed.
I agree with @siebaby: Bama was not supposed to be here, but Tennessee was riding on 'hype' in the Super Regionals. So Bama stepped up. I too don't expect Bama to go forward - not enough power in the bats. Pitching good enough but in the WCWS bats and defense rule.
If the bats don't work, often the defense become overwhelmed by average pitching. Star pitchers are usually worn out in the Supers - like Bama's pitcher today. So IF they (star pitchers) make it to the WCWS, sooner or later, the opposition hitters take over. And UCLA has good hitters.
