Lowriding since 1990. A Tip. Spray WD40 and let stand over night. Use a soft brush and hot water to clean. To avoid rust buy Dayton's

Question for you, Can you put Rwd spoke rims on a front wheel drive vehicle? Would spacers help them clear the front brake calipers on a 95 deville? The bolt pattern is 5x115. Do you know what size spacers would work?

@@brandoncordova8800 yes you can put RWD on a FWD. You have Standard and Reverse. Standard doesn't stick out as far and Reverse stick's out. Spacers will only make the rim stick further out so you use a 1/2 inch thick spacer the rim is going to stick out another 1/2 inch. I always modified my front brake calipers. Mark the brake caliper with a white sharpie marker Turn the rim and the rim will mark the caliper removing the marker. Take your time and grind the caliper with a angle grinder then paint the calipers to avoid rust.

To Avoid rust put the dust cover on the back of the rims.the rust starts from the brake dust plus the heat from the brake heat bakes it into the chrome.most brakes have metal in them.semi metallic brake pads.I dont know who still sells the covers tho.just a tip

They look nice man! I love wires!
That SOS pad is going to wear out that gold and leave fine scratches in the finish. Turtle wax has a nice all purpose cleaner that cleans brake dust and helps remove rust that works pretty good (they also have a polish that helps stop rust, not sure if the polish is safe for gold), you use a nylon bristle brush and the rust will come right off with less damage to the gold / chrome. Allbrite wire wheel acid will eat the rust / dirt like no tomorrow in about 45 seconds and leave them "super shiny" and no or minimal scrubbing required, but I’m not sure if it is safe for gold plating, would have to contact Allbrite. What kind of pressure washer, what's the PSI/ GPM? I know some shouldn’t be left on idling for long periods as the re-circulation can overheat the pump. I have an older electric one and leave it on sometimes for several minutes without being used, but do try to shut t off. Anyway, nice vid!

Avoid all that bs lets face it wire rims are a pain to clean!, to clean properly take off tire and put them on a table ! And have time to burn a few hrs, to really clean them right!, thats why you see a lot of lowriders with tore up rims and no armor all and dirty white walls !!
