Hey Ashish, hope you're doing well, Currently I am in my final year of B.Tech (Cybersecurity), I've been a part of open source communities for a while now, I've been working on Cloud providers, DevOps and Penetration testing more than a year now, can you give a roadmap for beginner like me on how to be a Developer Advocate in Cybersec/Cloud?
@@CloudSecurityPodcast I am currently working as an entry level cyber security generalist. On the education side, I have a degree in communication engineering, a postgraduate certificate in cybersecurity, Ethical hacking certification, CompTIA Security+ and a few other networking certifications. For cloud education, I have completed AZ-900 and SC-900 which are pretty foundational. I would love to specialise in cloud security.
@@francisfrancis1153 you have the foundational pieces to do a cloud security job. Essentially we are all applying CyberSecurity defence/offence concepts and frameworks to applications or workloads hosted in a cloud provider. If you have security basics covered & have an understanding of one or more of cloud service provider services, now you are at the point to start combining the two together for a cloud security project in a company or personally for learning.
Tats my day in,day out job ! Part of CCoE.
