Ah, I love this! I just finished my very first painting form your "Forest Landscape", and I love it. I live in the Cascade mountains and these paintings feel like home to me. I want to keep painting from your tutorials. It does get a bit expensive to order all the paint colors though. Is there any way you could include tips on combining of basic colors to create similar colors? Some paint tutorials do that and it is so much cheaper and also requires less storage space.
Get a color wheel and blend the colors needed to achieve the colors he's referencing in the video.
I live in the Cascades, too... Eugene. I moved from Southern Oregon because of the fires. Maybe I'll paint fire paintings to purge myself that I lost my house in the Alameda Fire in Ashland (with 2300 others). What a way to heal! I love Ahmed's tutorials. They are so inspirational.

Wow love this so much the colours everything. Should you use a stiff bristle brush for blending especially for clouds as mine end up a mess! Thank you for sharing

What is the name and size of your brushes ?
Omg this is so stunning!! But I wonder, do u think this will work if is with oil paints? Maybe would be easier or harder? Cause I'm practicing with oils.
It will be easier in the sense that you can get a smoother look with oil paints easily, in this case painting a soft mist would be easier, but the hard thing is the drying time, it would take longer for you to paint, etc
This is beautiful! I'm new to painting, so so you let the different layers of color dry first before applying the darker shades or just keep going with it all at once?
Funny, someone asked me to paint them a similar scene...I made several attempts.... frustrated, I told them it was beyond the capabilities.... maybe with this video I can try one more time... thanks!😉

Which is a good paper for oil pastel coloring?
I saw your vids and I was curious.
Also do you wet your paper with like water or liquid white or just apply the paint directly?
I apply the paint directly, as for oil pastel paper I bought several and the one I think is the best is the one from strathmore , oil pastel paper pad, it has a brown cover
Hey! Idk if you'll reply to this but when i paint using acrylic paint, my painting is very streaky. Should i change the brand of paint im using?
You should see your paintbrushes. It depends on the bristles. If they have stiff bristles, it’ll come out streaky. If the paintbrushes are soft, then the painting shouldn’t end up streaky. Tell me the results.
@@User-wy3li can you advise what bristles I should use for blending please, mine end up a blotch of mess lol the mist ends up not a mist so frustrating as I don’t know where I am going wrong thanks so much

I wish other people who've tried these tutorials would upload your own paintings on Pinterest so we could see all the different ones! Look for AhmadArt's pinterest, find the particular tutorial you did, then use the "Tried It" pin. I did this for AhmadArt's "Forest Landscape" tutorial so you can check mine out there.
