Abductive method is the one used by poets, philosophers and preachers. When we convince someone through arguments which have no precedents in past is called abductive method. Poets use imaginary words to make us believe that what he says is right. Plato,s The Republic is a great example of that. He gives picture of an ideal state which has no precedents in past at all.
