My family had tons of Adventure People across the 70's and 80's. Ironically, those two sets were not among them, although we had the characters from other sets (and of course Hawk as the deep sea diver, too).
We would go camping with the Starcraft Camper Club and people would bring kites and have parachuting figures that dropped from the kites. My dad made a parachute for one of the Adventure People (a female paramedic in a blue outfit), and we would hook it onto the kite string and watch it ascend up to the kite. Normally the bump when it made it to the kite would be enough to knock them off but sometimes we had to give the line a tug to pop them loose. Eventually we lost her to a group of large pines somewhere in southern Illinois. .
One of my favorite toys as a kid. The ranger set and the north woods were my favorite because they played so well together.
I always loved the notrh woods adventure and the parachute sets, two of my fav toys of childhood.

You know I dig the Adventure People! Northwoods was hands down my favorite and second was the wilderness set with Ranger, plane, boat, etc. I was lucky to have 3 younger siblings that were in to these. They had tons of sets. I have a story I am going to put on one day when I get some more, this is going to be my number 1 search at the flea markets this year! (Besides Joes of course!) When is the parachute going off the tower?
Great question. We have a drop point planned. Hopefully it goes better than the action man drop lol
I still have the motorcycle but a puppy we had ate the guy and handlebars, my son Roberto Jr had that little van when he was a kid he used it as the Ninja Turtle Van, remember the parachute guy that had an outfit similar to Evel Kenivel? I used to pretend he was Evel. These were great toys, my grandson has something similar, a few figures, tanks, airplane , copter, and other vehicles that reminds me of the Fisher Price toys, I forgot the name of the toy company that makes them, he even has a deep sea sub. Cool stuff brotha!
Cool review! Dad retired from Montgomery Ward just before they closed. Worked there over 40 yrs so you can imagine under the Christmas tree growing up. He used to get the miniature display tents that were a perfect scale for 1/6 figures. They were as detailed as the life size, very cool with big Jim and Gi Joe. Some really cool things got thrown in the dump, sadly. ✌️

You know I loved this@ the numbers are the set #, each set has its own #. The kayak was sold on a bubble card with a kayak, paddle, a couple of bouys and a figure. That kayak was red. Awesome toys brother!!

I always had my Northwoods dudes hunting Bigfoot (Chewbacca). One insane combined plays had the Adventure people as civilians, Star Wars Empire teamed up with Cobra to fight Gi Joe AND Godzilla and Great Mazinga in the mix vs ALL.

My grandson just told me the name of the toy company that makes something similar to the Fisher Price toys it's called Imagined. They have a fantasy set, a Pirate set and a Viking or Barbarian set.
Dios I think my grandson and I made a mistake imagined are the toys that make the mini superheroes that look like kids.
@@robertoacevedo6247 Imaginext, it's a Fisher-Price brand, and they did do a lot of dinosaurs and other adventure themed sets.
