    Liking the angle blade.
    You may appreciate those snow tracks in a few more months!

    • @themadmailler
      @themadmailler  6 лет назад

      I know i will! When i use my MC in the snow, the tracks occasionally get unnervingly tight and go SNAP! every so often. Even in heavy mud I can see the snow tracks working as they should, ejecting all the debris that gets stuck in there.

    I'm going to go take a look at one of these machines that has a final drive issue in a couple days. So might be watching your videos repeatedly pretty soon.

    • @themadmailler
      @themadmailler  5 лет назад

      Depending on what the issue is, you might have a good machine for a little money and work! There really isn't much going on inside those finals.

      I put bimetallic in mine, purchased from steeringclutch.com. only a couple extra bucks for bimetallic, and you never have to worry about failure!

    What does that little lever on the floor do? The one by the left control arm.

  • @rummysworld7531
    @rummysworld7531 5 лет назад

    we have a 350-B crawler loader that the left side doesn't work either, is the clutch/brake assembly like you did the only reason for that? There is zero tension on the left lever for 95% of the time, occasionally it will work a little when it gets warmed up. I am new to this machine and thought maybe it is the valve part under the seat.

    • @themadmailler
      @themadmailler  5 лет назад +1

      even if your power steering cylinders are non operational you should be able to manually operate the steering clutches. first try adjusting your clutches and brakes.

    Wrong track grousers on that machine

    • @themadmailler
      @themadmailler  5 лет назад

      I like them! I use this machine alot in the yard, and while i lose a little bit of traction, i do nearly no damage to the grass. It was also really nice when we used this machine to grade dirt for a concrete floor to be poured. because of the loader tracks, it did very little damage to the fine leveling and grading work that we were using it for.

    On my jd450 the right clutch drive was replaced but it’s very tight and when I’m pushing hard it will stop turning until I ease up on the pressure? Any idea?

    • @themadmailler
      @themadmailler  3 года назад +1

      try adjusting it, also on my 350 loader, the hydraulic valves leak oil, which ends up in the clutch housing and makes the right side slip. maybe that's your problem too?

    • @chrisdalton9120
      @chrisdalton9120 3 года назад

      Would I adjust it out or in ? I have a tech manual coming but it’s not here yet

    • @chrisdalton9120

      Also I haven’t found any leaks but I haven’t opened it up yet

  • @Parents_of_Twins
    @Parents_of_Twins 5 лет назад

    Are your tracks a little loose on this machine? Not that familiar with the JD's but I know that on a Case that are supposed to be tighter than that.

    • @themadmailler
      @themadmailler  5 лет назад

      There is supposed to be two inches of sag between the center top idler and the sprocket. If it's too tight it will prematurely wear everything, also also not have enough give if a rock or something gets stuck in the sprocket.
