  • Let's take a look at the Live Rock Enhance while we dream of BBQ ribs. Oh, maybe not, BUT let's take a look at ReefBrite's Live Rock Enhance and see what it does for my system that is currently developing Diatoms (Brown algae).

For diatoms may I reccomend adding some pods?
Algae Barn eco pods or 5280 pods work really well. I had a diatom bloom clouding up my 3-6 month tank. Water was crystal clear within a few days.
As far as cleaning the rocks its tricky, because after the diatoms was under control Cyano moved in. So I assume it would also clean the rocks, but it does open up territory for other things.

Great product! I have used it to clean up rock in existing system as well as cycle rock for a new build! Very cost effective as well!

This is a very through product review. I've been using this product since March 2019 with no negative results. I'd recommend this product to anyone. Thanks Luke for another excellent video...

Totally off topic but i have the 8 bulb ati fixture purchased from PA and concerned about weight suspending from ceiling. Believe it weighs about 40lbs. How did you mount your light. I have cathedral ceilings and concerned about angled weight pulling on drywall. I am consdering conduit attached to back of stand as am alternative option but actually hate that look. Just wished ati had a leg mount. I have an 80 shallow build in the works

Hi! I used just standard dry wall anchors for my fixture, which is holding up perfectly. You could always look at putting a cross beam between your ceiling joists if you have access above it where you could then drill directly through the beam. But I wouldn't think you'd have a problem since their hanging kits are made for the fixtures weight.
