- We are randomly drawn vehicles to go racing with on Forza Motorsport, however with the grid set to reverse pi order and a small roll off delay the fastest cars start at the back making the races incredibly hectic.

Seems like you guys are having a lot of fun with Forza. It is good to see and fun to watch. :)
The penalty system, while not perfect and needs a lot of ironing out, actually encourages people to race cleanly which massively improves the online portion of the game, and for me that's honestly enough

FM should do a rallycross expansion. It would suit its physics and tuning capabilities so so well.
I think you should turn the rolloff delay off as it seems impossible to catch the lower PI cars
Very nice driving of the EVO! A bit careful driving can help with the oldies: the issue wasn't tyre temperature, on the playback you can see it goes orange and immediately slides everywhere. Put up higher gears when coming out of a corner and there won't be that much wheelspin.

Good racing ! I think everyone on the grid should start at the same time because even though some be slower than others, their characteristics set them apart.

4 wheel drifting in the 60s/70s was an art form. I can't imagine how terrifying and thrilling it was to drive a Porsche 917 or Ferrari 333 back in the day especially as if you crashed in one of those at 150 to 250 mph, you were just turned to dust.
The BMW 850 couldn't even catch the lower PI cars in front of it it's that bad lol
That last race brings back memories of Grand Prix Legends. The tires on those 67 F1 cars had the durometer rating of an oak tree.
The Merc suffers from a few issues that are easily remedied (in order of CP availability): (a) lower tire pressure, especially rear (b) WAAAAY broader/wider rear tires to give it *some* grip in corners. (c) Shift break balance WAY to the front (d) Stiffen rear suspension (e) Get a different (any is better) tire compound (f) fiddle with the acceleration lock on the diff to personal preference. It's a pretty decent car after (a) and (b) already.

That Lexus GS350 is such a heavy bonkers , it did like the 3rd worst lap, It's has a nice performance, but it's weight is holding it back

Some nice racing, and a nice lucky dip assortment. Man, that Ferrari Alex had was twitchy on the track, but the big question I have is this:
Did Speedbeast have controller issues in that first race? Just seeming him most of the laps on the side of the track just made me wonder if that had happened. ❓
How has the new car upgrade mechanics effected you all on these lucky dip races and the ability to be able to build the random cars assigned? Just very curious.
From the content i have seen so far new Forza multiplayer is looking like the new place to race.
How about a proper "Rabbit vs Wolves" race, where you can choose to be a rabbit or a wolf, where the wolves are 1 or 2 classes higher than the rabbits.
Say rabbits are in D class cars, the wolves can be in C or B class cars, and whoever crosses the line first wins a point for team rabbit or team wolf.
So glad we made the switch to Motorsport from Horizon. I actually thought I could race until Motorsport LOL!
Had some amazing online races on this game I couldn’t recommend the online enough everything else is really average though hopefully a few months worth of patches improve things

I don't get why they do that 'staggered' race start. Doesn't that spread the field out too quickly making it impossible for those start at the back to make moves to the front? Seems pretty unfair that you start ahead and go first
The back cars are really fast, if they don't fight much or get held up, they would make it to first

Try to shift gears earlier. U loosing time by letting it hit the rev limiter

Im so jealous of how nobody in your lobby has a penalty. Even in S class safety, its not clean enough
They turn them off when they race to make sure it doesn’t destroy someones race and they slow themselves down if they take each other out

Any advice on how to avoid getting in banger racing lobbies?
Be faster and cleaner with driving style or spend a lobby or 2 in dead last and have 0 penalties to raise your safety rating but lower the skill rating then once your skill rating is in the S with a lower skill rating continue clean racing and your skill rating will naturally rise in lobbies that are less rammy

I really wanted to love Forza Motorsport. I really do. But I refunded it because Turn10 have not said they'll amend the CarPG system, and I can't justify even $70 for the game at the moment.
I got the premium edition, and had a friend pay for half, and *still* felt like I've been robbed. I'll probably just buy Forza Horizon 5 when the premium edition goes on sale again, despite the soundtrack, because I'd rather a bad soundtrack than a poorly implemented leveling system.
The classics are not about grip but about handling use the throttle to steer
