I thought it was cool how the lions were guarding the bridge...you would think a boy lion to be tough but he was playing with a ball LOL! Anyway, thought that was cool! :) Also how you could see the dynamite holes in the rock. Very crazy.

I'm 31, 32 in Feb and my knees make a lot of noise these days lol Loved all the natural beauty. Loved the hike, makes me want to hike in new places. Loved the drone footage at the end of the waterfall. Makes me feel super mindful, like I should sit in silence, treat my body well and meditate

I'm SOOO envious of you!!! That is one part of Taiwan that I still haven't had a chance to visit and that has long been on the top of my list!!! I've always loved the mountains, and, growing up, I hiked along a number of sections of the Appalachian Trail (which runs from Maine to Georgia, in the eastern US), but the mountains of Taiwan are SOOO much more majestic and dramatic than the Appalachian Mountains are! I've been able to visit Alishan (and experience the sunrise from there while watching the rivers of fog flow through the steep valleys below) and experience much of the mountain landscape in the southern half of Taiwan, but a chance to visit Taroko Gorge and its surrounding area has thus far eluded me. :'( But it's so nice to be able to experience it vicariously with you and Annie through your lens! And I love the curation of the experience! Thank you! :)
Beautiful taroko ,I miss taroko. I guess it's Qixingtan beach in the end of video,because I saw the F16 fighter .I record some video of F16 fighter take off when I was in Qixingtan last month, looking forward to the next video
Been to the trail twice but I have never paid closed attention to those lions! So thank you ! I will have a good look next time I am there as they are so cute!
I recommend you visit the Baiyang trail (白楊步道) next time, and get into the water curtain cave at the end. The marbles and waterfalls along the trails are EVERYTHING!!!!
A few years ago, in 2019, my family and I spent a day hiking several of the trails in Taroko Gorge in Hualien. One of the trails was quite high up and narrow. I remember looking up at the steep cliff and precariously perched rocks above us. Just one month later, there was a large earthquake and a Malaysian tourist was unfortunately killed by a rockfall on that same trail. Taroko Gorge is such a beautiful place, but it can be dangerous at times.
Like your Taroko RUclips piece a lot, even though been there for half a dozen times throughout the years. It gives me a reason and a road map to go back again in my next trip. You researched your tour well and hit all points of interest new or old folks missed. Thanks for the effort.

There are so many trials and history to discover in the Taroko Gorge. It has been the traditional living area and hunting ground to aboriginal tribes. Therefore there are not only geographical wonders in the area, but also very rich aboriginal history and cultures.
2:22 My favorite trail! But after watching several youtube videos recently, I found that the water is not as blue as I saw when I was young. Maybe the composition of elements inside the water is changed?
I am very grateful to have my RUclips pay for my travel so I can completely experience Taiwan ☺️ I didn’t have the opportunity to travel a lot in Japan because I was working a Monday to Friday then.

有砂卡礑步道、白楊步道、錐麓古道、燕子口、九曲洞，太多了，真要一次走完太累人了，給自己留一個下次再去的理由

那個是莫那魯道，他跟日本的戰鬥是在南投，不是在太魯閣，他們的族人是在後來才被日本人遷村至花蓮！
7:00 提到的應該是發生在1914年的太魯閣戰役，而不是1930年的霧社事件，此批的太魯閣族人早在16世紀就從南投仁愛翻越能高山至花蓮秀林，就時間線來說是更早於霧社事件，所以跟莫那魯道沒有關係
那個原住民石像是太魯閣族的總頭目「哈魯閣.那威」！
不是埔里賽德克族的部落頭目「莫那魯道」！
