Dr. George Sawa is the best Egyptian I ever met in Canada. I enjoy listening to his music and watching him plying. God bless you Dr. George. Ahmed El nagar Toronto
I not only got the great honor of hearing Dr. Sawa play this weekend, but to dance to his music and attend his lecture and speak with him! It was an amazing experience!
Dr. George, I really enjoyed this music and listening to you! I was trying to open the link to your other played song "dakhlet el awalem" but it was private. I really am curious to listen to it. Is it possible?
Dr.Sawa, I am studying the qanun and I'd like to learn this piece. I managed to learn part of it by ear, but I'd really like to get the music sheet! Is that possible?
Hi Carlos, this is an improvisation and it is not written down. Listen to it many times, study some of its sections one at a time, try not to copy but get inspired and then you will create your own style. We can meet on zoom if you want one day.
