I think about this movie a lot. My cousins and I would watch the Bernie Mac show with our families and we always had laughs with him. When he died I still was young, but I was sad. I can't imagine what my cousins were thinking, and I definitely can't begin to describe what I was other than sadness. RIP Bernie.

I really loved the movie as a kid and still do! The soundtrack is the most beautiful piece of music I’ve ever heard! I remember watching the first movie and how I wanted a second. When the second came out my sister went to go watch it with her bf but I didn’t go. I was sad until I went on a trip with my parents to Europe in a first class plane angle luckily the plane had mini tv’s. I was browsing and as soon as I saw that they had the movie available I immediately tuned in. I loved the movie so much I remember watching it more than 10 times on that plane ride. There was really no need to make a third movie! The third was me screwed it up and honestly they should’ve just ended it with the second movie because it had a beautiful ending

Now I know who played Melman in Madagascar because when I was watching FRIENDS, I heard Ross speaking and immediately I remembered listening to it somewhere and that’s when it clicked. Did he played Melman? So I looked it up and yup he did, which is so awesome. Same goes for Chris Rock. I saw one of his movies, Grown Ups 2 and his voice sounded very similar to Marty. So wow, that was really cool for me because I didn’t know that when I was a kid. Also really cool that Will.I.A.M voiced MOTO MOTO.
