Great video - thanks for covering such a well-known but under-reported on JDM suspension supplier. I've always wondered why Ikeya don't offer more rubber-mounted replacements - seems based on their answers the heim/ rose joints are "stronger" but I felt their answer was a bit weasely in that they didn't talk about durability and whether it means increased servicing.
Maybe aside from Ikeya, visit the other legendary S2000 tuners in Japan. J's racing Touge Demon King would look nice side by side with your S2000. also that Top Fuel S2000RR is worth a visit!
Thank you for uploading the footage of the S2000 overhaul. I was waiting months to see the process after first seeing the car's sudden transformation in Dustin's Japan Vlog.
I just installed the upper front Ikeya arms today. I had been using offset bushings in the stock arms, which worked for awhile, until they started knocking around. It's a track car and I do run 255 square, with aero and a turbo. I like the arms a lot. I only wish they added threaded holes for the ABS wire. :)
Back in the days, before companies like Wisefab came into play and dominated pro drift car suspension parts suppliers, Ikeya Formula was THE aftermarket suspension arms to have. I was on an S-Chassis forum, and the saying goes: "You get Ikeya Formula just so you can say you have Ikeya Formula"
The chief Ikeya Formula 🇯🇵 mechanic looks like Rob Choo of Chewerks of SoCal 😂 My next mod for my AP2 will be these Ikeya Rear Camber Adjuster Upper Arm Set 🇯🇵 Thanks Albo for featuring these top products on here. I’ve been eyeing on these since earlier this year but I haven’t had anyone to see their verdict of this product on their S2000
Love this video, especially w you speaking Japanese for most of the video, kinda like speaking Japanese tutorial as well but on car subjects haha. Can't wait for the next one
had the ikeya "sequential" shifter which are cable actuated back in late 2000s on my GDB sti . gave me tons of issues and really hard to dial in accurate shifting into the gears. Left me stranded quite afew times. eventually gave up and went back to H pattern.
so sick albo!!
No one is hitting all the car shop like Albo. Keep vloging these different shops
Albo has gotta be one of my top favorite automotive youtubers currently!! these videos are always insanely beautiful
So cool to see all these legendary stores, thank you for making these documentary style vlogs!! 🙏🏽

Love being at least somewhat early to your videos! Keep up the great work albo your the best✌️
This was very helpful from a technical perspective, especially from a culture blogger 👍
I had a full set of IKEYA arms in my old JZX100 they were hands down the best quality/design arms and I've yet to see anything rival them

This is the type of content I like to see!! Awesome shop visit and product overview
Those control arms are beautiful, awesome to talk with the makers
Thanks for introducing me to parts I didn't know I need, that I now need 😃
Really interesting video! All of the Ikeya workers look like really cool people 🙌🏼
Cool to see this shop in particular, got a bunch of Ikeya Formula parts for my 32 gtr here in the states.
Great video as always mate, cant wait to visit in July!

@@olavofernandes7286 lol oops. Noted and edited. Thanks for the info.
Awesome video as always Albo.
Respect toward Japanese 匠心! They even consist develop on some 1990s car parts till now!💗
Soba noodles are delicious, I usually make them with bokchoy and wafu dressing. Probably not the most traditionnal way of eating it, but it's so good.
I had no idea that IKEA makes transmissions and control arms :D
Couldn't help myself :D
Thanks for another great video, Albo!
the imagery of a couple tuner parts engineers helping albo film his food segment is hilarious 😂 love it
Ive tried soba noodles when i was in tokio. Now it´s one of my summer go-to recipies :) - because they are cold and refreshing.
Good video to explain those ikeya products. in US, we don’t know much about it.
I really like content albo

All mechanical stuff aside I couldn’t help but get excited to see his listens to Vaundy and Avril Lavigne!

kinda wish they’d still make sequential shifters for more recent models and even other models like the zzw30 mr spyder.
Hey! Great video! As always! Thanks!
Fantastic content Albo.
Awesome job! You and e_ought are my favorite Japan enthusiast RUclipsrs.
Loved this video🙌🏽
Them some nice suspension parts yo 👌
I had Tenzaru soba a few times, and it was pretty delicious. But I'm more of an udon+tempura guy who loves to eat at Marugame Seimen/Udon.

Another dope drop from Albo 👌
Just discovered your channel. Great content. New subscriber
Great Espiod more tunning workshops videos!
Arvo is slang for afternoon in Australia.
11:20 I've also heard it's considered rude/not proper to even out the chopstick length by pushing them down like that 😊
Very good video man I love it🙏🏿💪🏾🔥
well albo those noodles i couldnt do since they are cold, im just not one for cold noodles
Does the Subaru have any specialty shops in japan? Or is Tomei as good as it gets for them
how much is that red s2k? would love to import it on my country for my daily
Awesome video
If it wasnt for your channel, i still wouldn't know of Ikeya Formula. I wonder if they make anything for the integra line-up.
That's awesome.
All you need to do now is turbo the S2K. Then it'll become an S2000 Type R.
What do they have against Mitsubishi? Would 100% buy arms from them but Mitsi is the only company they don't have products for.
Nice 👍
Thank God its Not "IKEA" - Then I would be VERY worried
Let's gooooo

Eyyyy first like!!!
