- In my previous Arena video the top comment was talking about how Arena needs "Aram buffs/nerfs" and it sucks how Riot is ignoring Arena. That has never been true and maybe is hidden to casual players, so I hope with this video I showcase changes that allow unique champs to be strong in Arena that you would not think about playing

Honestly super happy to see you do more Arena because there are a lot of interesting build options that have gotten even more refined and for some reason there are just so many bad takes out there.
I got to try it out on PBE and it definitely feels like the most fun version yet.
PBE arena 1, 2 and 3 were all the best, 1 and 2 because of bugs and variety, 3 because of build variety

I was able to get 100% m-pen and a ton of flat m-pen with taliyah. 0 cd rocks doing more than true dmg to tanks.
The issue, imo, is that it's just easier to play bruisers/healer/shielders. You don't need to go for any special builds or setups, just be tanky and non-interactive.

I think unironically cheuffer (sp?) was BIS there for your build, it would just require better comms to really pull off, but being able to spam jinx w while still moving is pretty nuts.
Janna should've built full movement speed and just run around being uncatchable
why doesn't riot just write the changes in the area for balance adjustments... like isn't that what it's there for lmao.

Do you think East Asian camp queens are finally a viable pick for top lane or do you think they'll still be mostly bottom lane and that this season was an exception?

Really enjoying the Arena content. I'd love to see a Nami game - according to the wiki, they changed the base damage and ratios on her W so that it does less healing and more damage. If you are able to stack 1000+ AP like you did in the Nidalee game, the last bounce would hit for more than 2.5k (3.3k if you get 1200+ AP), which is kind of hilarious - and it'd be a lot easier to get all the bounces off because you are always 2v2.
I would love to see more of these uncommon arena picks

Idk if it's still in the game in this form, but previous arena had Moonstone share a portion of healing and shielding. I loved building it on nunu so that if I healed 1k off a q, my ally also got like 300
hey pekin you're slightly wrong in the beginning
riot has started to implement aram changes 'outside' the yellow buff-icon as well
for example veigars E has straight up more cd (and not the usual -20 ability haste on all spells)
ofc most champions still abide by the +-% balance, but some champs (i think less than a handfull?) have the 'hidden' changes as well

I mean, even worse than bruisers being meta, healing and shielding is OP. People are spamming so much double tanks/enchanters so that they don't really do damage but are impossible to kill, even if you get mediocre augments/anvil. Literally started spamming healing/shielding champs and instantly started winning tons.

@@dracocrash1 I mean they can always adjust some champions/mechanics/stats to make it more fair, they can always make it better with time
@@penguinqueen01 yes I agree, I think once they release arena there will probably be a hotfix patch to deal with outliers and they will slowly work out all the other op cases
@@dracocrash1 haven't heard a single person complain about damage in a game mode where the goal by almost everyone is to build for one shots bud

that nunu build was absolutely ridiculous, being able to get 3 prismatic items with all the pike money was sick
I would like to see kayle arena games. being a champion that could build ap or ad items, you can benefit from most augments and items (though I suppose other champions like kai'sa as well)
I think a large issue with riots "buffs and nerfs" in the for fun game modes is they as always overestimate the value of range in a limited space which still leave bruisers fighters and occasionally tanks by far the strongest class at all times.
Please more arena. This set of it looks amazing and I think you’d be able to do some insane stuff if you play it consistently. I’d be very happy if Pekin because an arena only streamer for the next 4 months
I love that arena shows why bruisers should be weak on summoners Rift. Can 1v1 anyone that also isnt a bruiser and have the same winrate as others. If i feeded as yone i can still at least have fun with a "1v1" on the adc that will have no chance to win.
this could be a difficult fight cuz they have swain and swain does the sucky - love your arena videos hope they do well

Pekin! I love healing Nunu can you try building moonstone? It should boost your healing by loads as well as heal your ally from Q with how they changed the wording on moonstone in arena :) lots of off meta healing builds go well in arena (like morde)
I concur with many others, more arena vids, they feel fresh. Also, I like seeing Mr. Pine Marten being more expressive, and arena gives him the opportunity for that since there is more constant action.
the problem with arena is not the bruisers, it's the stupid 10k hp tanks that force people to play tank shredders like fiora, trundle, gwen etc.
they only look busted cuz other champs wont last vs those beefy champs

Another buff they did for Ahri, is in her ult on champion take down, the healing from it is increased, and instead of only getting 1 dash back, she gets all 3 back. makes ahri WAY more viable and all around way more fun than in the original arena.

I think if people haven't noticed that champs have "aram adjustments" in arena, it means that they are not properly made (some champions, mechanics or stats are still in need to be modify).
Innervating Locket Udyr? Is Noxus invading Ionia again?
Talisman of Ascension could be neat on enchanters with Dawncore, turning the mana regen in to AP + Heal Power. Maybe that's a little overcooked.

I noticed First Strike gives alot of gold in arena. I hit R on karthus and get 264 gold

Just like in SR all the plat- players who know nothing about the game but make up the majority are complaining about tanks and bruisers because they don't know how to deal with them. Would hate to see this game mode ruined because of them even more than it was in arena round2
