    Amazing cake Theresa! I definitely will be trying it. Thanks to Chef Jeffrey who referred us to your channel. His cake turned out wonderful in his new bunt cake pan.     My Great-Aunt used to make it with fresh or frozen shredded coconut not the sweetened coconut in a bag.

    Good mMs Theresa. I just have a quick question cause I’m bout to make this cake when you made the cream cheese icing. Did you intend to say quarter of package or was it a half of a package of cream cheese? I’m looking at the video and it looks big unless you had a bigger package than 8 oz. I Just want to sure I don’t mess up. Thanks and Happy Mother’s Day!

    HELLO MRS, THERESA, I COOKED THIS CAKE ON SATURDAY. I DID EVERYTHING YOU DID STEP BY STEP, I STOPPED AND STARTED THE VIDEO. WE WERE COOKING TOGETHER. I HAVE AN ELECTRIC STOVE JUST LIKE YOU DO. I USED ALL THE INGREDIENTS EXCEPT LIKE I SAID BEFORE I HAD TO SUBSTITUTE THE WHITE LILY AP FLOUR, WHICH I AM UNABLE TO FIND IN MY AREA. I WILL BE PURCHASING WHITE LILLY AP FLOUR FROM AMAZON. ANOTHER THING I DID DIFFERENTLY WAS I HAD A CAST IRON BUNDT CAKE PAN AND I BELIEVE YOU USE AN ALUMINUM CAKE PAN. WELL, I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I HAD TO COOK MY CAKE FOR 1 HOUR AND 35 MINUTES @ 325 DEGREES. WHY SO LONG, WAY MORE THAN YOURS? MY CAKE WAS VERY DELICIOUS WITH A BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN COLOR, A VERY LIGHT TASTE AND VERY MOIST. THANK YOU FOR SHARING

    Frosting NOT needed if cake is made correctly, recipe leaves cake a crunchy, sugary crust once taken out of baking pan.
