    Masala Lachha Paratha | Masala Paratha Recipe | Crispy and Spicy Paratha | Lachha Paratha Recipe
    Ingredients:
    • Whole wheat flour - 250 Gms
    • Ajwain (Carom seeds) - ½ tsp
    • Oil - 3 tbsp
    • Salt to taste
    For Masala:
    • Gram Flour (Besan) - ½ cup
    • Cumin seeds (Jeera) - ½ tsp
    • Turmeric powder (Haldi) - ¼ tsp
    • Red chili powder - 1 tsp
    • Fresh coriander - 2 tbsp
    • Kasuri methi - ½ tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Oil - 3 to 4 tbsp
    Recipe:
    1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, carom seeds and oil. Gradually add water and knead a semi stiff dough. Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
    2. In a bowl add gram flour and all other spices along with oil, mix well and keep aside.
    3. After 10 minutes knead the dough again with some ghee. Take a ball size portion, dust some flour and roll it in a big chapati.
    4. Spread some ghee over it and place 2-3 tbsp of besan mixture and spread evenly.
    5. Take knife and cut the chapati into fine strips, start rolling the strips from one side and Stretch it a little bit and roll it in a flat ball.
    6. Dust some flour and roll it in a round shape like paratha.
    7. Heat a tawa, apply some ghee, and place the paratha on hot tawa. Apply ghee and cook from both sides till done.
    8. Serve hot with curd or pickle.
