Because a landyachting video without any music just has a lot of wind noise and rattling of the camera... and 3 and a half minutes of a camera rattling gets pretty irritating regardless of the quality of footage. I have left the rattles, rumbles and rustles in at a low level to avoid the stark blandness of a video completely divorced from the original sounds which is the best compromise in my opinion.
