so, finally the IIIT delhi campus tour is here !
special thanks to Harman and Sandeep ( YT-- HOSTEL INSIDERZ)
without them the video was not possible

so in this video we covered most of the places of IIIT DELHI
IIIT Delhi is one of the best engineering college of INDIA.
and the placement stats are just awsm ! (will cover in next video)
firstly we visited the academic building and tried to show you a quick view of
class room
classes are well built and amazing
and then we discoverd some of the labs ! labs also good and some computer
rooms are open for students so that they can study !
then there is a place for chilling there u can dour work and enjoy the coffee and the ambiance
is just beautiful
after that there is a old academic building , then there is the main research and development block
before that OAT (open air theater) the research and development block is just awsm and very huge
so IIIT DELHI is also best for research
if u get hungry after ur class or travelling around the campus
then u can find canteen and mess and juice corner to chill and enjoy
sports complex
sports complex is small but good considering the strength of college
swimming pool
squash court
badminton court
volleyball,basketball,tennis court are also there
and indoor sports are also there
and then there is a well equipped GYM ,
after that the hostels are awsm
and well constructed with all facilities !

@@_de1_ based on the almost two semesters I've spent here, it's been a mixed experience with mostly good for me.
Most of the work is actually interesting and industry oriented, coding is a lot of fun, and everyone's helpful with assignments. No attendance policy makes you academically independent.
But keep in mind that the pressure and workload is REAL here, and if you're not good at managing it, don't even think about coming here. Your sleep cycle and timetables are bound to get fucked, but that becomes a natural thing to accept here.
Some of the professors are great, at least they try to teach here compared to the other colleges but some of them don't have good. oration skills.
If you imagine a "student of the year" lifestyle of college, then definitely stay away from this one. We do have fests, now four almost on the level of other colleges. Sports are improving day by day as well. Basically if you're up for the challenge of studying consistently, then this college is a perfect mixture of fun and stressful but interesting subjects.
(PS. don't join if you wanna do MBA/ civil services exam in future)

Just as a note of caution regarding 15:00 :
IIITD's intake has increased quite a bit in a few years and there might be some trouble regarding hostel space when the new batch comes in (in a month or so). People living under 15 Km from IIITD might not be allowed to stay in hostels.

Bhaiya lagi padi hai without hostel 😭, I have to travel for 1 hour 45 minutes for one side daily. My home is 28km far from the college but still I have not received the hostel yet.

Hi Harman. I am a parent and my son has joined IIIT D in CSB stream in January. We're from Mumbai. My son who was having online classes since the last two months has been asked by the college to move to the campus before March 31. I found your hostel tour videos very informative and reassuring 🙂. Just wanted to recheck the room allotment process with you. We've also written to the college administration regarding it.
I also wanted to check if students are allowed to have bicycles to go around the campus and whether it is secure to park cycles within campus.
Which is the nearest metro station from the college campus?
Govindpuri Metro Station is just at the main road and it takes around 10 mins (700 meters) to walk from the station to college entrance. But there are a lot of rickshaws and autos which can dropoff from metro to college entrance in ~3-4 mins too 😉
