I just love Amy so much and the fact that she's the only one that refers to The Machine as a "She" out of respect for Root is amazing. A wonderful human being.
I adore these two! Amy seems very sweet and I really like Sarah in this role, too. I felt sad when the show ended too soon. Since then, I've re-watched it like 7 times, whenever I can't find anything with this quality of story in a setting like New York. I've never been there and probably never will, so that was a real treat, too! ALL of the actors were very strong in their own right and gave us a fantastic ride!!
woobiesftw and with Shaw/sarah shahi too! (this interview is not a great example) but she’s so perky and smiles a lot, cracks jokes, is very glamorous. etc. Similar to how jim caviezel is pretty much the opposite of Reese too. no one would expect him to be so hilarious.
I thought that at first as well, but the further on it goes the clearer it becomes that nothing is stand alone, every mission they do plays into one of the many ongoing story arcs. I pushed through the first half of the first season, but I'm so glad that I did, the show is incredible when it gets it's momentum going. And Root is one of the best characters in the show, although she is only a recurring character, so don't expect her to show up every episode.
First of all thanls for this interview as well as for uploading it to delight of all of us who respected the show and not loved but love and will love Root and Shaw forever! And I swear this is the first interview ever I enjoyed!
Did anyone else get that "coming to America" reference at the end when the interviewer says and "hop on one leg" and Sarah goes "bark like a dog"? LOL these two are so cute
Man Amy Acker is gorgeous. Now that I know she is on this show I might have to give it another try. I gave up on it because it was so episodic and mundane.
Yeah, that's probably why they brought her and Sarah on, they changed the narrative arc of the show as well, made it less episodic, less about the "number of the week". And with the introduction of Vigilance and later Samaritan in Seasons 2 and 3 respectively, the show got much more "sophisticated". The show definitely got more complex, perhaps even a bit muddled in some places at times, but yes, seeing Amy and Sarah was reason enough to watch, Jim and Michael too, of course.
i think they just confused Sameen Shaw w samantha groves (root) ? i dunno. they seem to know little about the show given the fact that Amy Acker’s caption says “Carol Turing” haha aka the fake psychiatrist Root pretended to be in her first full episode. then there’s the fact the man called him “Foosco” haha. so i’m pretty sure in the edit room they just hit up google and went with whatever they saw first haha.
Amy Acker is just adorkable! She's so goofy and shy. It's sweet and refreshing. Lurve these two together! #PoI #Shoot #Root #Shaw
She's like the opposite of Root, who's very confident, it's fascinating how Amy can so convincingly play this role, she's a great actress.
I second this!
I just love Amy so much and the fact that she's the only one that refers to The Machine as a "She" out of respect for Root is amazing. A wonderful human being.
OMG! Shaw is capable of smiling!!! *reality disolves*
Oh my god why Amy Acker seems to be so shy :] that's too cute.
Shaw and Root shipping confirmed by Sarah and Amy! Love these two together!
Amy Acker is just too beautiful

Great interview(s), the interviewer is really competent.
On a side note, Amy Acker is so different from Root, she is extremely cute.
She's always cute!
Ha I just Love fans whose never seen Amy Acker before Root. They're like omg she was actually acting.
She's that good.

It's so weird seeing Root's actress acting normal and not as some passive-aggressive psychopath, awesome acting and great show
thats what disturbing

Its like they are in a relationship.. They have tension between them on and off screen...
Or its just me....
They have chemistry, they like each other as people.
Rirou Katousa Maybe it's really just... us ^^ You are not alone! :D
uhh its sameen shaw not samantha.. lol
I think originally she was named Samantha Shaw, but her name was retconned to Sameen. Probably to avoid confusion with Samantha Groves(root).
Did anyone else get that "coming to America" reference at the end when the interviewer says and "hop on one leg" and Sarah goes "bark like a dog"? LOL these two are so cute
Both of the hottest characters on the show.
SARAH I LOVE YOUUUUU
Sarah Shahi confirmed for shipping Root and Shaw (Shoot / Raw).
They should've interviewed Bear!
The voice and accent of Amy Acker is really like root. So... she... IS ROOT! :-p
Great show
1:26 Oh Sarah... 😂
I like the show it's fun to watch
looooooove this show
Amy is so different from her character
Shaw's almost-compliance, back-and-forth is her nature. No need to change it. Heck, the whole thing about POI is the unredictableness of it all.
been in love with both since Life and Angel

1:29 i'll be in my bunk
i don`t know you guys but for i want Jim Cavizel to be the nex Batman
I want to have Amy Acker's babies!
yay!
Two nice looking women!
Samantha Shaw? 這已經不是冠夫姓這麼簡單了😂

Are they hinting that Shaw and Root will be hooking up?
Awesome show, better than Breaking (Boring) Bad in my opinion. Please don't get butthurt.
Fuscaw?
person of interest? Pinterest
ikr I am kinda pissed about all of these. Almost as much as GTA spamming.
that's dealing with it
Somebody had to say it...
Wow, Angel and the L Word collide.
Totally Agree with you I don't really get how people like Breaking Bad. I got bored after the second season
deal with it
no i just unsubscribed
Samantha Shaw =___=..........they married?
First
Indeed, BB is too slow, boring and predictable for me, I think it is overrated honestly.
