Update: SD Card suddenly started working and so far 24 hours without any issue. Several restarts were made but it is unclear what eventually solved the issue (magic, probably?). Latest firmware and app has been used all the time.
Update two: Problems arising again... Worked nicely for several weeks straight but now SD card having formatting errors again. Cannot visit the site to try restarts...
Hi, Im having same ussue with my Tapo C310... 2 of my memory cards are now write protected and cannot be formatted, did u leave the sd card in the camera or tried any diffrent method ?
Hi, I managed to make it work with Adata High Endurance microSDXC 128GB, but not with Adata High Endurance microSDXC 256GB, it just doesn’t what to initialise/format the 256GB one.
I have one tapo c500 and one C320WS. The C320WS works fine with my Adata High endurance 256GB sdcard. I have 3 of them. My C500 only works with my Adata High endurance 128GB sdcard. It refuses to initialise/ format the 256GB ones. I managed to format the 256GB in the C320WS then moved it to C500 and now it works, I can even format it again.
@@MagyarASzekely Surprisingly my card is working again without doing anything. Not sure what happened, I did reboot the camera several times though for other reasons.
Is your sd card still working. I got a 128GB SD card for my C500 and after a week it now stopped working "no SD card". I still don't know how to fix the issue
hello sir we have this cctv on our house it just suddenly not recording sound like people talking and car passing by, but it can record alarm sound, is there a fix about this, i tried reboot many times still not fix.

I think better is lower gb on memory, 16 or 32 is better, i yave the same issue and after full memory it will automatically initialize, not random
