Let me start by saying I enjoy your videos and look forward to watching your next project. Although I must admit when your in the field working the ground, they are my favorite. One thing I would like to suggest, you and your help needs to wear eye protection when working in the shop. Hammers, punches and harden steel don't get along, wire wheels and grinders needs to be respected as well. Remember, safety first. Happy farming.
There was a recommendation in the book one where the split should be. Honestly I doubt this field cultivator will ever see enough use to wear these bushing out.
Impact guns are generally not recommended for use with nylon lock nut inserts - the high speed at which the gun spins the threads heats the nylon causing it to harden & compromise the lock nuts effectiveness.
Thank you for the big investment of time to make the interesting videos and for the detail in explaining and showing how machinery works.

Okay Nathan!!! You showed us how to do the first one,...we'll take it from here!!! Let us know how we did!!!
I am coming from your loosing weight plates video lol
Find a socket the same outside diameter as the bushing to punch it out.
Ever wonder if the placement of the split in your bushing can be critical in the length of wear if the split is on the load side of the bushing

How is the new truck doing

What kind of ceramic coating do you use?
Armor Shield IX
I realize it varies a little, but how deep do you normally run your field cultivator?
3-4 inches usually
So No grease or never seize goes in the Bushing?
I think that would just attract and hold dirt. They weren't hard to get apart so no need for never seize.
Talking about the Nitrogen volitizing, is that same as evaporating?
Basically yes
Check the frame for crack I seen one
Good eye I saw it too.
If needed a piece of equipment that you were selling, I would buy it from you.
Are the hydraulic locks in so the implement can't drop down while underneath?
The valve is closed
@@BorderViewFarms you should always fit bar in ram as hose can burst when not expected
