Hole N" the Rock is a fascinating and historic 5,000 square foot home carved into a massive sandstone rock in Utah’s Canyonlands Country. Located 12 miles south of Moab on U.S. Highway 191, this unique attraction was meticulously crafted over 20 years by Albert and Gladys Christensen. Visitors can explore the home through guided tours, which reveal 14 rooms, original furnishings, and Albert's artwork, including the notable "Sermon on the Mount" and a sculpture of Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The site also features a petting zoo with a variety of animals, including camels, Watusi cattle, albino raccoons, peacocks, and more. Additional attractions include Lyle Nichols' metal sculptures, antique tools, and a variety of unique souvenirs and locally made Native American crafts available at the trading post.
