    First class idea! I just recently found out that they make annular cutters that are designed to be used without coolant of any type! If I’m paying for them, it’s getting something! Great build, and another item on my to do list!

    I sell MT2 and MT3 adapters for annular cutters at my steel yard! Yes, for your drill press! I think it’s cool you made one from scratch for your mill. BUT for the layperson that would like to use annular cutters in their drill press, that’s what I carry. Oh, and they’re made right here in the good ol’ USA!😉

      Thanks Craig Ive been enjoying your channel too I just finished watching your take on Stephans indicator holder nice work......Ill have to thank Chirpy I watch his channel but I must have missed that one.......as far as the editing goes I wouldn't wish it on anyone its extremely time consuming but honestly a few months back I bought premere pro and after effects and watched (and continue to watch) many youtube videos. To be honest ive spent many hours trying to figure out the software the learning curve is steep but its rewarding in its own way.

    Pretty neat idea, that would make it alot easier than having to try to dig the slug out afterwards, lol. The only downside is that you sacrifice some of your Z height on your mill tho.

    Nice adaption of the mag drill tool, much more useful now.
    Who needs CNC when you do it right? Besides, where is all the craftsmanship in CNC. I suppose it's in HAL aka Mr. AI but not necessarily the human component.

      I still cheat and use the digital read out for the precision stuff but somtimes you just want to throw somthing in the vise and drill a big hole....this works great for that

      I love my clausing lathe......you dont need the fancy drawbar just stick it in a collet

      I think you're talking about a tube notcher? Yes it would work well as long as the tube is held very securely and there is no vibration and also sometimes if the tubing wall is to thin it will vibrate too. Vibration will kill an expensive annular cutter

    Why not a R8 weldon shank holder to hold the annular bits?

      My bridgeport isn't an r8 spindle.....and I've never seen one with the locating pin.....somtimes I dont want to use an edge finder just to drill a non critical hole how do you line up your cutter if your using a weldon holder

    Build one that is integral to the CAT30 ? Holder. That way it can’t ever rotate in a collet, and tests your taper machining skill. No prob for you.
