You have great taste in homes Ethan for someone of your age. 😉👍🏼 Have you ever been to California? Or in the states before? Do you plan to travel this direction with the channel?
This house was beautiful back when it was built! The wood ceiling, gold leaded door gorgeous and the slate brick fireplace was just so beautiful I bet back in the day. Love the 60’s homes.thanks for the nice find for us to view. The property would have been so pretty when it was groomed. Love the wood work too. Your new sweater looks handsome on you by the way!Your videos have been so entertaining. Look forward to them Ethan!
Wow, what a gorgeous house.. Abandoned, yet so clean. Love the woodwork esp the ceiling's.. Just sad to see water in basement, for leads to mold. By the way, those 'thermostat's', in rooms, think were speakers, for what I have...
Thanks for the tour! Loved the swimming pool! Can you imagine all the neighborhood kids swimming there? 😂. I live in a 60’s home (1964). It’s had a modern remodel though. I wonder what it was like originally.
I love mirrored closets - Have one in my apartment. This house is very similar to the one I grew up in (built in 1961). I agree it has a warm, inviting vibe about it. A lot of happy times took place here and I really hate to see it go!
It looks like they renovated the home into like a bed-and-breakfast type thing where they rented the rooms out and it seems that they did some renovation to do so just in my observation and opinion, but thank you for showing this. It’s a shame as usual because the home looks like it could still be used or refurbished to be used, but anyways, thank you for sharing Ethan and you take care and be safe.❤️🫶🏻🤠
This one is so awesome and cool! These original homes from this era are some of my favorite homes, and are full of so many interesting features, and alot of character. I agree 💯 that this home has a very warm and embracing feeling! Another awesome find and explore!😎✌️
Depends on where it’s at… and how highly the water table is underground!! A lot of places on the eastern side of the country have high water tables and get a lot more precipitation! You can even look at a map of the United States and the whole western side is mostly tan/brown and the whole eastern side of the country is all Green. They have to have “sump pumps” on the east coast to pump the water out.. whereas there’s no flood problems at all on the west side of the country! We have a basement in California and never had any flooding.. and where I now live we get around 2-5 inches of rain *in an entire year!!* the water table is 100-300 feet below ground!! (So obviously no water to flood anything!)
So sad to see another cool house about to lose its life. Really neat design features. That fireplace in living room gorgeous and love the sunroom. The kitchen nice except for the rat. A few updates and maintenance items and i would be happy to live there. Summers in the yard with the pool would have been so fun. I wish more people would realize their value more than money. Wish people would visualize how amazing it would be to restore and preserve these cool places. Thanks for sharing this one Ethan!! Take care be well and always stay safe!!
Any house that depends on a sump pump to keep the basement dry is poorly built. Either it should never have had a basement or the basement was not water sealed or the is poor drainage.
what a great 60s-style home it's a shame about the basement being flooded would have been great to see cool to see the inside of it but thankyou for a great video Eathan
Ethan, Thank you for showing us this cool house. Those hooks on the wall by all those keys are coat and hat hooks. The big top part for hats and the hook underneath for coats.
That orange glass n pool house was amazing... I always worry ur safe especially with flooded basements even though it's just water. Still.... but always stay safe n look forward to ur videos much love bro.
Lots of nice finishes in that place but that old 60s 'boxes within a box' layout aesthetic never appealed to me. Kinda claustrophobic, to be honest. I prefer the open concept design of later decades. Everything else about mid-century modern I'm a big fan of!
I adore this house. I'll bet the basement was amazing in its day . The outside of this house, even though overgrown, still has charm . Thank you, and yes, wearing white to abandoned isn't the best idea you have had lol xx

The water in the basement was much deeper because you can tell that the wall was cut much higher where the water was sitting.

My favorite part was the part that they added on it kind of look like a sunroom not bad
Appreciate the peek into the basement. Just a shame that these amazing houses are left to rot and be replaced
Ethan is secretly pleased he doesn't have to go to his least favorite place to explore 😂😉
What's his least favorite places....? Basements....
Wow, what a gorgeous house.. Abandoned, yet so clean. Love the woodwork esp the ceiling's.. Just sad to see water in basement, for leads to mold. By the way, those 'thermostat's', in rooms, think were speakers, for what I have...
Sad another home bite’s the dust! Very cool video bro! ❤️🤘👍
You might have to push the top built in wardrobe doors in. Maybe it's that sort of mechanism.
Because each room had a key, im wondering if it was rented out like that or a bed and breakfast.
Thanks for the tour! Loved the swimming pool! Can you imagine all the neighborhood kids swimming there? 😂. I live in a 60’s home (1964). It’s had a modern remodel though. I wonder what it was like originally.
Hey Ethan.i agree with you its a very warm and welcoming home ...love the garden ..60s and 70s best era ever ❤️..stay safe well and happy 💋
Another great explore, Ethan! Beautiful home. It could still have potential. Love the woodwork. Makes the house seem warm and cozy.

Ethan Classic another one for the books Bravo GOD BLESS 🙏
It's going to be a very interesting home indeed!
Thank you for sharing 🫶
Quelle jolie maison !
Les baies vitrées à l’arrière sur le jardin sont géniales !
Hey, Ethan! Check out the vintage film Step Saving Kitchen from 1949. Every once in a while, I see hints of it in the houses you visit!
Thank you Ethan for sharing this great video with us 👍❤️😎

Yes...renting rooms or short term rental...or maybe a b and b...in later yearsmmm
What could be seen of the basement...looked neat...
Nice home, I was getting ready for bed here til i got the notice Ethan posted another adventure.....sleep can wait!
all the temastates are for zone heating and would regulate each baseboard heaters

Should have kept the power on for the sump pump...
Neat indoor basement entrance/exit to the parking...very helpful in the winter month's......
Is it common for basements to flood?
Asking as in Australia we don't have basements.

Nice house Ethan. Love the kitchen. Too bad the basement is flooded. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Odd how certain rooms are labelled a b c d e....
Love the wood in the ceilings and the pool looks enormous great find👏🏻👏🏻 thank you for sharing❤
Never seen a baseboard heater behind a toilet before...yes that was the original bathroom sink...
Base board heaters, each room has its own thermostat. Like like like like. Just an observation.
Weird indeed...mat not have had central heating...didn't notice any rads or vents...
Place looks like it had a rehash in the 80's...StarTrek communicators in each room.
I enjoy watching your videos, thank you and keep up the great work !!!
What another awesome find Ethan and this place is amazing 👍❤️😎
Nice find Ethan 😎
Another awesome old home. I bet the basement was cool. Thanks for another great video.

Very cool place. You’re right, it would have been nice to see it when it was lived in. 😊
I'd be very happy to live in a house like this. I'd prefer it to something new. How sad it's going to go. I hope whoever lived there had a happy life.
I bet that could have been a tornado shelter. The concrete basement.just a thought.
Any house that depends on a sump pump to keep the basement dry is poorly built. Either it should never have had a basement or the basement was not water sealed or the is poor drainage.
Due to high water table and for other reasons...that's why certain homes or businesses need a sump pump or two in fact in the basement...
what a great 60s-style home it's a shame about the basement being flooded would have been great to see cool to see the inside of it but thankyou for a great video Eathan
Beautiful home. I like that little woodstove.😊
That breakfast area is called a breakfast nook.
To my favorite explorer grapevine😂
That fireplace is gorgeous !
I'm still trying to figure out who is "he that shall not be named". It's more entertaining to me than Drake and Kendrick's beef 😁
Pleasant home, thanks for the visit!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love this home!! How could anyone abandon it?? I hope it’s somehow saved! 🙏🤞
NO SUMP PUMP WORKING= IDIOTIC
Hello Ethan!
I can’t believe they didn’t take those bikes! What a nice old home.
11:43 "Whip It" starts to play
Might have been a airnb...
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ethan, Thank you for showing us this cool house.
Those hooks on the wall by all those keys are coat and hat hooks. The big top part for hats and the hook underneath for coats.
Neat house 😀😀
Hi Ethan!❤
Hey, you got spiders you don't have much of anything else, insect wise, to worry about! 6:44
So sad. Another gorgeous home. Thank you again Ethan Minnie! 🤗👍♥️

Too much wood. Nice unless like me, hate wood

Don't Canadian homes have no drains in the basements?
Usually there are basement floor drains...but when u need one or two sump pumps in the basement they need electricity to keep working...
