The word PANIXIYA doesn’t exist in our language. It is a word that takes genesis in our universe inspired by the folklore(s) of North-East India. This story speaks of a world where the relation of the people to the fish is very different than ours. In that world, a fish is the soul of a person. If we are to look for the meaning of the word PANIXIYA, it will mean those people who stitch water into homes. In this story, we witness the struggle of a soul as it slips away from its familiar realms.
অসমীয়া ভাষাত পানীসিয়া শব্দটো বিচাৰি পোৱা নাযায়। এই শব্দৰ জন্ম এই কাহিনীৰ পৰিসৰতেই হৈছে, যি কাহিনী উত্তৰ-পূৰ্বাঞ্চলৰ লোককথাৰ পৰা অনুপ্ৰাণিত। কাহিনীটোত প্ৰতিফলিত হোৱা পৃথিৱীখনত মানুহ আৰু মাছৰ সম্পৰ্ক আমি দেখি থকা সম্পৰ্কতকৈ বহু পৃথক । এই পৃথিৱীত মাছ হৈ পৰে মানুহৰ আত্মা। সহজ অৰ্থত পানীসিয়া শব্দটোৱে সেইখিনি মানুহক বুজাইছে যি পানীৰ কণিকা চিলাই পানীতেই ঘৰ সাজে। এই কাহিনী মানুহৰ - মাছৰ জীৱনৰ অনিশ্চয়তা, সাহস আৰু যুঁজৰ কাহিনী ।
