I know this for the rainbow pool and the borders that create a legal no-man's land. This place is already very interesting and surreal on its own but these just make it way more iconic!

It is beautiful
Yellowstone is our favourite place on the planet. We have been able to include a few days here on six different road trips. It is a wonderland of geothermal features amidst such wonderful landscapes. Fabulous waterfalls and pf course such amazing wildlife. Our last couple of visits have seen us stay in the old cabins close to Old Faithful. Great to have an early morning coffee almost alone as the geyser erupts before the crowds arrive as I am sure you well appreciate. Lovely to see your visit to these wonderful locations.

Playing ads, no skipping. I really want to go here. I've never been. We almost went once on a whim while we were heading somewhere else, but Sean vetoed it. lol Now, I have to plan a special trip to go. I really enjoyed seeing the different areas. I imagine you could spend a week there and not see everything. Awesome video, like 30, thanks for sharing!

Yellowstone National Park is such a beautiful place. We enjoy finding more laid back less crowded spots at popular destinations in our travels. We will have to remember these spots when we plan our trip to Yellowstone. Thanks for sharing these with us!

Amazing pictures, loved seeing the geysers at the beginning. Yep being to close to a wild animal can have a very bad result. My first time seeing Old Faithful ever, never even saw it on TV before, very cool.

I think it is really harder these days to find a place without crowds unless you get out and hike. Back in 2012 and 2013, it was way less crowded. I think starting out really early is best. We had the old faithful area to ourselves for almost 2 hours, arriving at 6 am. We will be spending most of our time this year in the northern area of the park, so starting early will be best. I enjoyed the footage of your trip 😊

We so would love to go to Yellowstone. 2000 mile is a bit too far for a 2 week vacation. But some day we will get out there.

We are hoping to get permission to video at the National Parks without paying a fee. Worth a try. All they can do is give us a ‘no’. Can’t wait to visit there what a wondrous place!! So beautiful!
Their our parks that are supported by our taxes, we shouldn't have to pay another fee ontop of a entrance fee to film. After all it's free advertising for the parks.😊
@@elflordsjourneys totally agree but according to their policy anyone who films has to fill out a form and pay a fee or can be fined with a hefty fine if caught-especially those channels that are monetized

Hmm more government intrusion, glad we saw most of the parks in the west years ago.
I think it is meant more for those who make a lot of money and have a crew. They are trying to prevent a crew. Even though just recently they say "youtube." This was filmed before they included "youtube" in their language. I agree this is public land.
