Worth, Houston, and Ohio (for whatever reason), are the only areas in the American interior/heartland where a lot of the locals are quite rude. But for the most part, yeah, Americans are good folk. For example, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico - all next to Colorado - are chock full of some of the friendliest people around.
In terms of aircraft cabins and interior, Thomas cook only operate premium and regular economy. But everything else is the same, same seats with different colours
I appreciate Condor, because my husband got to Germany, and finally Australia - from Jamaica. Virgin Atlantic have improvements to make. thanks to Condor and Thai Airways !!
I really like your channel and am a long time subscriber. By the way the 767 was Boeing's first wide body non-jumbo and both pilots and fliers loved it.
Wow. The food, especially the breakfast is far better that Air Canada’s east-coast to Europe offering. Much better that the banana bread slice. Dinner roll looked good.
BTW, I just watched the video of the FRA-PIT flight in Business Class. I don't think I have ever seen such a stark contrast between cabin classes. Having seen both now, one must be absolutely desperate for a cheap fare to suffer through "Steerage Class" (a reference to "The Flintstones" cartoon). Fly in Economy on Condor once, and you will absolutely want to be in Business Class (or perhaps their version of Premium Economy, which seems to put a heavy stress on the Economy part).
You experienced Pittsburgh hospitality there, good sir. I love the city and people I grew up with here and I'm happy you got to enjoy it! Much love from da Burgh! Keep up the excellent reviews!!

I lived in rural southwestern Pennsylvania for a little over 20 years and took the Parkway West from downtown to the airport many times until I moved west in the early 1990s. Because of the horrible rush hour traffic jams on the Parkway at the Fort Pitt Tunnels that lead to/from the Golden Triangle (downtown Pittsburgh), I would have thought that the airport-downtown corridor would be the ideal candidate for expansion of the light rail system or even a regular train line (with possibly a stop around the junction of Interstate 79 (the major north/south expressway). It just takes too long to get from downtown to the airport. That should have been a priority even back in the 70s as rapid/mass transit plans were being developed. If Pittsburgh ever wants to become a hub again (as it was during the heyday of USAir), it will have to develop a viable rapid transit option to get pax to the airport.
Pittsburgh was once a USAirways hub...for many years, it was a major hub for Allegheny Airlines. One of these days, you should do a Trip Report on Frontier Airlines.
Nice airline! Think they have one of the best looking 767 cabin. They have a really nice service from Frankfurt and Munich to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Nice trip report.

I just flew this flight a few weeks ago and was quite surprised at how nice the cabin was, it was overall a great flight in spite of the pay to use ife
I tried Condor Long Haul 4x times and it just didn't work out with the seat pitch. I'm 1,87cm and it's awful. Especially when flying through the night because you can't sleep really. The rest is pretty decent tho. Service's nice and food typical economy class. What do you expect for such low fares
Exactly the same dinner i had yesterday on condor flight Las Vegas to Frankfurt Same Brown bred same pasta with spinach and tomato sauce all same but there 767 are all over 25 years old. I payed 12 euros onboard to get a code for movies during flight
Sometimes I think people eat far too much in lounges. A space to relax away from the crowds and a few drinks and minor snacks is really the essential thing. I rather liked the Virgin lounge in Canberra Australia for the same reason (at least when I was there - they may have more food at other times.)
As always: Great review! You were quiet lucky to have such friendly lounge staff. There is raw broccoli and cauliflower in almost every lounge it seems. Pretty unusual to European taste especially considering US Americans are not particularly know for their healthy eating habits. Does anybody ever eat it?

I travel to Frankfurt very 3 months from San Francisco.. just get bottle tequila from duty free.. drink half bottle.. pass away around 8 hours in the plane.. it works well almost 2 years.. also no jet lag...

Next month I'll ride condor direct flight using Boeing767 from Kuala Lumpur to Frankfurt, but I guess it will be a terrible experience cause the legroom is 76cm only, and only 2 movies

To be honest, i have only had bad excperiences with Condor. I’ve done a long haul trip in economy, just like you, and before we even took off a low pressure warning sounded in the cabin (lol). Further on they fixed this after an hour and we took off. No personal ife, and the food was terrible and disgusting. At the end, i was glad this flight was over.
I flew Condor from DUS to DWC and back, also a bad experience... : no ife, worst legroom of all time, not the best food and just 1 drink on a 7h flight! terrible! I think I will never again fly condor on a dsitance of over 4h

Well, that's why you should pay 150€ more per flight for premium economy. A flight that's 100-300€ cheaper than every other carrier that flies that route has to save some money.
just did a Seattle-Francfort. Condor is a mess. Food was ugly (pasta bathing in fat), the afters consisted in one big spoon of chocolate cream. The crew was unfriendly, there are sellers, not flight attendant. You got to pay for everything, for films, for a miserable beer during lunch, "you got to pay for everything" the hostess told me. Space between seat is ridiculous. This was the most terrible flight i've ever done. Condor is low cost for long courrier, it's the shittiest company i've ever done.
Plane looks new and quite fancy. Is just a pity that legroom for an 8 +hours flight is so little. Especially for a German airline. Btw, lounge is pretty cool, compared to the US standard ("read United Clubs") ;)

I had a chance to fly economy with Thomas Cook back in 2016. Cancun - London Gatwick and back in an Airbus A330-200. Very friendly and polite staff. Terrible seats , poor leg room. Food was good but not great...

i flew same aircrafto on short-haul though,SKG-FRA, sat on 8K and pitch was great..It was still considered economy class

Priority Pass is very usfull. We have one with unlimited free entry to the lounges. Its nice if you are flying economy and have acess to a lounge.
Would you be able to try the flight from Frankfurt to New Orleans on Condor? Always have wondered about that flight.
