This show is loosely adapting a recent story called Devil’s Reign in certain aspects, and that’s one of my favorite Daredevil stories of the last couple decades. I’m beyond excited for this show. The Daredevil character means so much to me I can’t wait

In this trailer, the aspect ratio seems different, which throws things off a bit for me. Plus, the quick cuts made it hard to see the choreography. That said, I have no doubt Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio will bring their A-game when it comes to acting. As for the action, I’m still on the fence.

I started doing a rewatch back in December, now on season 3 almost mid way. Planning to rewatch punisher then watch defenders for the first time after that since it had daredevil in it
It looks Absolutely Fantastic!! This is what Im wanting from Marvel!! Hopefully more stuff will be aestheticly pleasing, Good fight scenes, acting, writing, grit, and grounding, etc. I cant wait!! I honestly really hope that they do this for all the Defenders characters one at a time. I really hope this is not a disappointment like all of the other Disney+ shows right now

Initially I was 100% excited for this, but now this trailer’s made me more cautious. I’m confused as to its relation to the Netflix show. If this is a true continuation, I’m worried about it undoing the threads left in S3. Matt’s angrier than ever it seems, and that’s strange because the last season ended with him making peace with his faith crisis, his dual identities, his blood thirst, and ESPECIALLY with his need for Fisk to be gone permenately. Also, I’m not sure how you do Fisk again a third time without it being derivative of what’s already been done. Still optimistic but more nervous than before.

Yes. Punisher and defenders are MUSTS. Defenders is practically a daredevil s2.5 and s3 makes no sense without it. Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist are optional.. but chances are they’ll be showing up. And watching them is helpful, especially for defenders
