Great tool, Leonard. My favorite part since getting it has been the ability to take my time to set the dolly exactly where I want it. Some old reproducing player pianos are not only super-heavy, but the balance point is a little off where you'd expect it to be. The lifter/stand combo gives us the luxury to find the best spot for the dolly, without repeatedly lifting the piano.
A 9-foot Steinway Model “D” weighs 940 pounds completely assembled. Minus the legs, pedals, lid and action, it would weigh significantly less, though still heavy.
Cant go using that jbar on a wooden floor there Einstein. And a piano is almost always on a finished surface. Plus you already had the piano board on blocks

We purchased this recently. Good tool to have. Lifted a 9'2" with player system with ease today.

I’m interested to get one any idea ppl?
Where was this thing 25 years ago when I was moving pianos? Shucks!
Well designed. The only caveat are those 2 X 4 blocks already under the piano...
they rolled the piano onto the 2x4's. I use wider 2x4's .. so its easier to land the board onto the 2x's
