Not necessarily. If you want the particular amps, effects, etc., found in specific plug-ins, then yes, you have to buy those plug-ins. Other additions are included in CorOS updates, or of course, there is a whole world of free downloadable amp/effects captures!
@parmeshgurung stomp. I got a wireless midi controller from temp (mwave) with everything for 30 bucks and you have a mini axe fx rig right there. Can't really go wrong.
IMO Quad Cortex is not as good as ToneX for amp capture, not as good as Fractal stuff for amp modeling, not as good as helix for effects… it’s doing a lot but not very good compared to others 😂
Tonex and helix are trash I just deleted toneX and helix native plugins and sold my helix. Fractal is not even relevant 😂 Bought the quad cortex. Neural dsp plugins rock. And the quad cortex is the holy grail of multi amp fx
ToneX is great because it is quiet cheap, especially if you don't care about effects. It's basicaly a quad cortex's capture player. But, let's be honnest, this unit doesn't play in the same league.

The usecase of Sidechaining with bleeding in the microphone was great! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks!
👌 that's awesome really cool so versatile
This thing sounds great, Mitch does great reviews
Thank you!
so now if you want new amp models you have to buy them?

Most of the amps and effects in the two plug-ins are just tweaked versions of existing amps and effects
No they aren’t. You should check out reviews.
The line 6 pod go is still the best option for people who cannot afford something like QC. They also have updates, every 5-6 months, not years.
Ampero II is better, I own both.
Which modeler is only updating every few years? Boss?
@@brathzowhich model?? I am looking for a budget modeller for concers.

Quad Cortex has updates every few months as well. It took years for the plug-in compatibility, but it's also an industry first so 🤷🏻♂️
Sounds like a modeller…

these are just not the sounds I want to hear from a guitar amp.
I was hoping to hear a tuba ran through it myself
Transpose is pretty useless.
Transpose may be very useful, for example if you have to do a tonal change to better match your singer.
Like a universal capo. 😊
@@yvescolin6169 Try it. It sounded terrible for me.
