One of the things I’ve noticed on RUclips at least is if I’m watching a lot of it, I get a lot more ads. If I take a break for a few days, It slowly increases the ad count probably in some way that follows a brain pattern.

In the past, everyone had monitors in front of them so they could hear themselves, okay, some still do today. But these days most people use in-ear monitors to hear themselves. Normal people have no idea what it's like to stand on stage and not hear what you're playing because the speakers are radiating towards the listener.

Now, I wonder more about how it feels to knowingly being ripped off and still keeping the motivation to keep going. It's clearly not about the money. My theory, the metrics is the real incentive for most. Until they're audited by an independent firm, they're probably completely fake.
Shorts, for the most part, was created to give you more exposure. It hardly pays you anything. Long form video is where it's at if you intend to make any kind of decent money off your content.
It seems to me that the RUclips views probably are more important as advertising for the other revenue streams, than as a revenue stream itself. I think that's something that people overlook when they see that you make more money from Patreon, for example.. people have to know about you before they get to your Patreon.
To really make sense of all this in business terms, I would need to know how many hours it took to gain your skill level on guitar. How many hours it took for you to master youtube enough to create that many views. Also how many 'tubers' get more than 10 million views from a single video. Well, I think I made my point. I clean pee out of carpet well it doesn’t actually all come out I play guitar at night and on the weekend and then I take lessons at guitar center on the weekend. I can only make money from carpet. My Guitar teachers hand shakes when he’s nervous and he can’t spell out chords. I’m thinking about getting a job there instead of lessons I gotta see how the next few weeks go I can’t find anyone besides RUclipsrs who know how to teach electric guitar really well.
I highly recommend Herr Bernth's Patreon courses. Even if you are a raw beginner or played many years ago and want to get playing again. For just $5 a month you can get VERY busy with guitar and you can get very good very fast because he shows proper technique.
That's not enough money for 15 mil views, but let me relay this: I thought at 3k subs, I would get monetized on RUclips. Not so, since I am a music channel, I would need 100k hours of watch time. That means I would have to release 50,000 songs to get monetized for my music channel. Also this: The RUclipsr, "Meet Kevin" relayed that when he had 1 mil subs he ran a video, once a day over the Christmas Holidays and it pulled in $30,000 a video.
When you watch shorts at the end the shorts play again automatically, does that tell RUclips that it counts as more than one view? Does that also mean if you don’t end the shorts at the very end it tells RUclips that it was started and turned off a couple seconds into the video? Thank you for the videos and information!!!
15000000 view equals 15000,- USD due to a quick google search taking in account the lowest payout. It says you earn about 0,01 USD - 0,03 USD pr view or 10USD to 30USD pr 1000 view. Not sure if it is accurate but you're saying you get 0,13 euro pr view? which is like 0,14 USD, which then my calculations on the calculator says 0,14X1500000 = 210 000,- That's way more than 2000 euro.... Can you please elaborate on that, or explain what or how my calculations are wrong? Again I analyzed my own comment and the video, 3rd time i Edit now, and if it's 0.13€ pr 1000 view, that makes more sense but then it doesn't make sense to the 1928€?

Then I don't even understand the 1928€ of his estimated revenue? Man I am super confused!
