Hailey. You’re thinking the complete opposite of what you should be doing on long chip shots in that tight Bermuda. You DO NOT wanna lean the shaft forward on those shots. It drives the leading edge into the ground. Learn to open the club up a bit at address, and use the bounce. The club will brush through the grass, and NOT dig in. It’s the very reason that wedges are built with “bounce” on the soles of them. Just give it a try, and let me know what you think.
