I want to compliment your mom and dad on raising a really great person. They must be extremely proud of what you have accomplished. I am sure that no matter what you end up doing in life you will find success. I love your dads comment that if your dreams don't scare you you aren't dreaming big enough.
I can't do better than the comments below. Your parents did a great job, you're a good example of humour, discipline and honesty. Thank you for sharing your story and good luck.
Such a lovely person, who tells it like it is. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. I have no doubt with your determination and down to earth lovely personality you will do well. Good luck also, sometimes we need a little bit of that.
Hi Hailey, I have watched a number of your videos and am always mesmerized at how good you are at golf. I love your ability to turn negatives into positives through insightful comments that reveal how you can see the silver lining in every cloud! That’s a great skill to have developed at such an early age and will suit you well in other areas of your life. Stay the course, you’re doing great and if I may add: experience and failure are two of the greatest teachers you will ever meet. Have a wonderful life/career! Chris
thank you Hailey for sharing your story. I really enjoy watching you play and appreciate your positive attitude! I just had my 4th shoulder surgery and I am hoping to play golf again sometime in my future. God bless you!
Went to Rollins College because of the Crew Coach. Left after 2 years for University of California, Berkeley. The Crew Coach asked me to try out; quipped back with “do you run the stadium steps?”. Running is not one of my strengths. Tried out for the golf team. The coach was in my group - on the 16th par 5 hooked my drive out of bounds - made the team because I made par. However, I secured the Twelfth Man status - when I came in last in the SF City Tournament, coach asked me what happened - “Coach, there are only two positions in life - first & last - everyone else is in the MIDDLE. For 60 years, competitive golf has been one of my loves.
One of great benefits was being in the same tournament as Lanny Watkins, Loy Martin and Tom Watson in 1968. Golf promotes the individual and getting better.
I completely understand the relationship between your dad and yourself; he supported and encouraged you to do what you love and to dream big things. And you succeeded as he knew you would. My daughter was the same, followed her dream ( I hope I had something to do with that) and ended up with a great career in Japan; long way from her home in Canada, thank the Lord for Skype. Hailey, as Mr. Spock would say, "Live long and prosper !".
What a great story. Thanks for sharing your journey. You were blessed with a great family who has helped make you the person that you are. Sounds like you are on track for a great career and a super successful life. Congrats and I wish you all the happiness that life can bring.
That is amazing sweetie ur a great person and amazing to hear that from u sweetie pie. U had a great person in ur life teaching u sweetie. Ur smart lady too.
Thank you for the MY STORY video. That will help out so many people take a step of Faith to do what they feel called to do. And I love your RUclips channel too!
I don't know how I got your channel because I don't like golf, but it was amazing listening to your story. Your parents did a great job in your upbringing and your a great person. Keep the hard work and the wonderful personality, it will pay off. Thank you for sharing a little bit about you.
when you talked about COJGA it brought back great memories of my childhood as i did the same thing as a kid. lots of great memories as a kid out on the course (i thought i was the next tiger woods of course lol) wish more kids could experience golf
Nice meeting you...I knew that it just had to be Scottsdale Az...Golf takes a lot of patience..and 9 years old for tournaments...wow! So you are an ambassador for the sport...Your dad really drove all of this home...proud of you!
Love Hailey's videos, her attitude, and good game. For some reason I was wonder, would these opportunities have opened for her if she was just "average" looking. I'm not trying to start an online battle, again I like her channel and support her. Joe Rogan was discussing this on one of his podcasts and I didn't really believe it, but really thinks its true. Good looking people have an advantage over "not" good looking people. More doors open for them. Oh well, just curious. Rock on Hailey, love the channel. 🤘😎
I’m significantly older than you, but the path to golf was similar, my dad was my inspiration and guide to the game, the rules, the manners the respect for the game. Though professional golf was my dream I chose another path, no regrets. Thanks for the story.
I wish my daughter woukd have been able to see this video 5 years ago when she tried playing in college. Unfortunately she came across some really negative people to include her coach. Well, you have a great story....congratulations!!!!!
Great video, shows how much hard work and determination can take you. Not taking shortcuts etc. You matured and took the 3 S's to heart, while many who have potential and never reach it prioritize the wrong things. Cliche but true
Really enjoyed listening to your very very inspiring story! There are always roadblocks and obstacles that we need to overcome during this journey called life. Best of luck to you and one day we’ll see you on the LPGA tour!
Great story. Especially the hole in 1..plus your faith and drive to be, who you are becoming! Now let's stack up some birdies an win some tournaments. Maybe if your in Springfield IL, you can win that tournament and I can show you the town. Great stuff..keep being an example of how to and not "can't do". Hugs.
That's some story Hailey, you seem like a really nice lassie from a lovely family. All the best moving forward with your professional career, keep posting ...I'll keep watching all the way from Scotland
So Nice to hear a work Hard Story. Being Pretty is one nice thing but hard work, talent and having a great personality is so important to taking it to the next step. Best of Luck on your adventures, Love your "Shorts" videos too. Enjoy that weather but never forget Oregon is a Beautiful Green Place to Visit ; ). Nice to hear you went to George Fox too, Newberg is a Nice town. Best Wishes from Hillsboro, OR Keep Making Oregon Proud.
Great story Hailey , You know It's been my experience in life and I'v been around for awhile , Life is allot like the great game of Golf , you only get out of it exactly what you put into it , good luck .
Such a great story,i don't play golf my brother does, but I watch it alot here in the UK I wish you luck in the future and will be following you from now on 😉
Happy Birthday, Hailey! Hope you have an amazing year, and you are indeed growing the game of golf! We need a golfer like you in Japan to grow the game!
God I watched every episode of shot makers loved it!!! ...Hope you do well in the future and if we ever cross paths in Scottsdale (boulders course) or (troon) hope you’d play a round with me...
The best ever. So many thanks for my favorite woman player. I knew you had to give us your background otherwise you would just be a golf nerd. You are even more beautiful now. We will follow you to the top. Workout and score the holes. Cheers.
You are soooo much more than a pretty face Hailey! Your story is already amazing, and I hope it just gets better for you. I have 1 question because I starting watching your videos due to the Red Sox and Whalers hats you wear. Now that I know your from Oregon and your a west coast gal, how are you a fan of teams from my neck of the woods?
Your confidence is so contagious, I truly believe you have spilled your faith/confidence all over me. I have chosen to do the impossible... work for The Most High Power in securing right, title, and interest for his Son Yahawasi. I have completed this task all except for the transfer of the property. This I will do the moment He returns. I have one golf question... I played skins once with some people in Nevada, and one is closest to the hole, the guy in my group hits his tee shot 8" from the hole. My shot was out of boundaries (lost ball). Took a drop, and chiped in a 40-50 foot shot. The guy was so mad at me he never explained why I won closest to the hole? That was the first and the last time I ever played skins. What's the law on the game of skins? Lightfoot.
Sounds like you have a great Dad! Kudos from the parent section! So... with that being said, I have seen my fair share of jerk parents on the junior course circuit and see a lot of potential father/son/daughter issues brewing. Some of golf is avoiding the opportunity to teach the parent by eliminating them from being a spectator at their kids golf event. I’m okay with banishing the bad apples but some of my biggest joys as a parent was watching my daughter and son play competitively. Years ago I even saw a state (Idaho?) not allow parents to be on the course at the State tournament. Your thoughts are welcome.
I want to compliment your mom and dad on raising a really great person. They must be extremely proud of what you have accomplished. I am sure that no matter what you end up doing in life you will find success. I love your dads comment that if your dreams don't scare you you aren't dreaming big enough.
her room is like a youtube gamer set up i love her style
Keep bringing great videos and enjoy what you love doing and enjoy life to the fullest
