Once Upon a Time in the West is a soundtrack composed by Ennio Morricone, from the 1968 western film of the same name directed by Sergio Leone, released in 1972. The film score sold about 10 million copies worldwide.
In my opinion one of the best from Ennio Morricone.
The soundtrack features leitmotifs that relate to each of the main characters of the film (each with their own theme music), as well as to the spirit of the American West.
The original theme music for the Claudia Cardinale character has wordless vocals by Italian singer Edda Dell'Orso.
CURIOSITY:
It was Leone's desire to have the music available and played during filming.
Leone had Morricone compose the score before shooting started and would play the music in the background for the actors on set. Incredible!

This is the piece. I think its also because the casio is a sharper sound nowhere near as good as the strung grand piano sound. Still a brilliant performance as usual. Many thanks richie

hi jazzy thankyou for your reply. No this version is perfect to my ears. You do another on the grand piano. The intro 8 out of the ten bars. The timing is correct i just think the intervals between the semi quavers and quavers are just two short. Which makes it not as relaxing to listen to compared to this version. Hope this makes sense.
