The way the chords in the chorus go from A, B over G#m and C#m to G and C and then resolving back to E is so fucking genius! Man I still can't believe how awesome that progression is!
Could you run down all the chords you are playing (disregarding the capo ie calling the first chord a D and not an E) there are one of two that I can't immediately identify from your hand positions. Thanks.
I know I'm a bit late to the party but maybe someone else will come down here looking for the same thing - so here you go: D Em7 D B7/E* Em D Em D F#m D Em7 D B7/E Em D Em D F#m F#7** G A Fm7 Bm Bm11*** G F Bb Gm A D Em7 D B7/E Em D Em D F#m D Em7 D B7/E Em D Em D F#m F#7 G A Fm7 Bm Bm11 G F Bb Gm A7 G D G A7 G A Fm7 Bm Bm11 G F Bb Gm A G A Fm7 Bm Bm11 G F Bb Gm A7 (x4) D ------------ Notes: *B7/E: Not sure if E String is muted or not, shape (disregarding capo) is: 0 2 1 2 0 2 - I prefer it with muted E-String, i.e. B7 **F#7: First time round he defo plays it as F#7 (again disregarding capo) 2 4 2 1 2 2 (later I believe it's a Gb with pinky planted on 3rd string 5th fret, I prefer F#7 though) ***Bm11: He lifts of his index finger for the last stroke of Bm
please do a tutorial for flick of the finger i know you said you wont be doing beady eye songs but this is completely different to any of there other songs
