Which was accused of being naïve at best and unrealistic about how economics works at most and likely sunk his entire presidential campaign altogether. That line “Hello America! I’m gonna be the money president!” is pretty on the nose regarding the way Yang was viewed by the country during his failed presidential campaign.
It's not you're just interpreting it that way. Trump and Biden could also be called "money president" because of their fighting over who was going to give the bigger stimulus check. It's a universal concept and fits many things.
