As a polite correction, the small dots on the eyestay and wings of the collar are probably Ben Day dots. Ben Day dots are from the printing process to create color & shading. Kirby Dots/Kirby Crackle is the artistic technique Kirby used to show cosmic energy. The back of the collar looks to be inspired from the chromatic aberration that results from misalignment during printing and can create a 3D effect at times. The films have done a dope job of turning that iconic error into the art style.

Bro TY you just saved me from making a purchase that I totally didn’t need! Tbh I am happy with the 1.0…love the blue hits on the tongue tag and it plays nicely off of the blue outsole plus that leather is soooooo soft! Like idk if I own another jordan 1 that had that good good on the whole pair…maybe the sail 1s…. I will give you that it’s biggest downside are the clear bottoms but I’m telling you if you just stay up on the cleanings they’ll stay good, plus you can always either use that solebright or dye them. My biggest issue which I’ve never seen anyone mention was the white used on the midsole of the 1.0 isn’t painted on all that thick….I’ve maybe lightly worn them 5x, cleaning after each use with the Jason marks kit I use on all my good shoes…there are spots I can see some clear…anyway if it gets worse I found this stuff made for painting rubber on boats…pretty sure it’s what Nike uses….not sure why Angelus doesn’t sell it…but they sell a “walk on red” that’s shit Anyway sorry for the rant… 😂 Gonna skip them for the personal…look too much like a GS exclusive for me…only 1s I got eyes on are them palomino joints 🫠 Thanks for sharing my G…
I missed the shock drop too man :/ Had to get resale off GOAT, they're on the way. I love the 2.0s a lot more than the 1.0s, Jordan Brand did a great job with this sneaker. Love it a lot, and while a lot of people aren't feeling this sneaker, that's cool cause it means more for us 😂
From a craftsmanship and storytelling standpoint these are superior to the first one. After the movie is out they will get more hype and eventually go up in price. It is a shoe that you can either keep as a collectors item or rock them as an alternative Chicago 1…nothing wrong in being different.
The OG ones the leather was very tumble which made it easy to wear but... I wish Jordan brand would've gave up a solid color in bottom rather translucent blue color which just turns yellow quick
