  • Granger Smith Podcast Episode 131: If someone tells you that they're too busy for you, they're only making excuses. It's time to stop ignoring the red flags. In the beginning of the relationship they should be pouring into you, not telling you that they're busy! Stay away from them. Join me as we chat about this topic and more on this week's podcast!

As someone who 95% of these questions don’t apply to, I always come back because of how solid of advice you give to everyone! Thanks for being a positive, solid, and honest person for so many people to look up to!

When I hear people say they’re too busy for something I remember a former pastor of mine. He said, “people make time for what they WANT to make time for.”

One key factor to going through a hard time mentally you have to keep your self bussy. Literally when you don't feel like doing anything down and out & depressed you have to just force your self to move and eat and stay bussy with things anything even just the little things waking up and just making the bed and some food all the little things count and don't be so hard on your self and just trust time will heal

Ignored red flags for 2 years and all it did was allowed me to be manipulated. No one is worth becoming a shell for. Any time someone pushes you to change you have to make sure that change is for the better.

Please continue to bless them with your words wisdom strength kindness and knowledge to spread your love and hope and light around this very damaged dark world so that more people come to know you and share your love. You know what helps me through a rough time in life is to put on *still holds up* & *miles and mud tires* full blast fire up my truck and hit up some long back roads near the lake or somewhere outdoors & just start jamming away!

Gods timing is perfect and everything that we go through is either his will, or it's being allowed to teach you something and make you grow closer to him.
Our relationships are ordained by God from the tune that eve was formed for Adam so that he wouldn't be alone.. we aren't meant to be alone.
The answer to every question that you have is available to you. You just have to learn how to hear God's voice.

I’m a widow with a child with mental illness . I’m 60 yrs old. The only shower I have is upstairs. I’ve had a knee replacement and back surgery. I work everyday. How can I get a shower on my main floor? I had to sell our dream house because, she wanted a fresh start. That didn’t work. I live now on the Flint Mi border line. I’m scared😢 I’m so alone

I have a question about faith. I'm someone who has trouble with it but I WANT to have faith. I WANT to believe in God. I've recently started to pray and ask him to open my mind and heart to it. I've invited him into my life and have just started to read a study Bible my friend gave me. Do you have any advice on how to cultivate a relationship with Jesus or maybe different ways to think of faith in a higher power to make it easier to believe for the "rational, I must see it to believe it" part of my brain? (Not that faith isn't rational. Just the only way I can think to describe that part of my brain that finds blind faith difficult) Thank you in advance for your time.
    Ps. I love your sermons!

Ehh I disagree with the "I'm busy" one most guys are trying to provide for their family and make a living... it's not a red flag but in facts you actually have a committed man.... many guys are firefighters, police officers, and in the military because their busy does not mean their not committed.

What is a good bible to read I picked up a few in the past but they all seem a little different? And I'm a little confused on what is the right one or the best one.
