If you own your truck, those rates are manageable. If you are renting and paying a driver then not good. It is hard to survive financially, add money back to the company, stay at hotels otr, pay for fuel, nsurance, and dispatch if you are renting while running cheap freight. Buying my truck tomorrow. Keep trucking.
Great content brother we most definitely appreciate it . In regards to the calculating of the load I typically would calculate a load based on day of pay. Whenever the BOL is signed that’s when it’s calculated
Good info on what y’all consider cheap freight... actually I was surprised y’all consider it cheap . Let’s me know where to set the bar. I’d split the pay of late week picked up load in half. Count half in each week and possible mileage too if trying to keep fuel cost. Waiting on the next video😬👍🏻
Fear of missing out is pushing people to book the first load that pops… if you are little patient with good negotiation and communicate well , brokers will pay you a dissent rate ..
Nice job to you both. Strangely I have been getting one of my best rates now that the rates are trashy and diesel is high. All loads this week were all above $3pm. From T brothers and paradigmtg. In the midwest I always try to finesse my best and most time I do get it.
Yes, you could average that regionally or more over the road. But that would be gross numbers of course. Check out the video we have of monthly expenses to get an idea of what to expect.

Hey if you riding solo, why not have 4 boxes of def on your passenger side. That way if you fuel up at a cheaper/regular gas station.
It ain't cheap when you going home
No dead head!!💪🏾❤️💪🏾
Those rates are very respectable..
I count it towards the month. I don’t really worry about weekly too much as long as it’s all adding up!
It makes sense to take a cheap load if you trying to get back home …y’all are too cute…I love y’all relationship♥️🙏🏾be safe out there 🙏🏾🤑

I count my loads on the date of delivery. I really don’t worry about weekly numbers. My end of month numbers matter to me the most.
Yea you right monthly is most important. We just like to pulse check each week.

Hey what computer program y’all using to track the business?
We use QuickBooks for finances and Verizon connect for our electronic logs.
Appreciate the info Bro. Quick question, is the box truck averaging atleast 4k weekly? Been dragging my feet but 16-20k a month would be motivating !
