- So. Hypixel finally did it. They released the update that would kill bedwars.

I don't think I gave enough reasoning for why this update isn't good, so I'll do that here:
-doesn't solve the sniping issue (random snipes and random cheaters still exist, and now you can't even dodge them since you don't know they exist)
-maybe at most 20% of the active playerbase actually benefits from this because they don't have high enough stars to be put in the insane star queue against other 800+ star 10+ fkdrs
-basically tournament mode (sweaty asf) in CASUAL bedwars
-winstreaks don't exist anymore
-If you're high star but just want to chill and play with worse ppl (like an irl), yeah no, you gotta fight sweats with them
-every game will now take 4-5 minutes to queue, and then another 50 minutes to win (might not even happen because you get put into games with possible snipers and cheaters since you CANT DODGE THEM NOW)
-Almost no reason for MVP++ when it comes for bedwars, since they nick you anyway, at least until you get into the game.

They already fixed the matchmaking, its also healthy for new player who wants to play a game of bw without having a 1k star 20fkdr in their lobby. good people are mad cuz they cant fight bad people its funny asf. i am a 700star so i get these qs too but if i q with my 100star friend and hes p leader i get worse qs. also you said it yourself there are no winstreaks anymore so why would you be mad about a sniper? i also didnt face a single sniper yet and before the update i had atleast 1 every day i played. fkdr means skill now which is good and a winstreak shows how good you are. you wanted good stats now you get in qs with people who have the same good stats. why are you complaining about that? you have sweaty stats you get sweaty qs. simple. tbf its annoying sometimes when i want to play casual yea but we would be the sweats for people in a "casual" round so its good that they dont get us in a q. you simply look at this at your own perspective as a high fkdr sweat who plays along time. do you think the average new bw player cares about sniper or these name changes? they dont they are just happy they get fair qs now.

@@vasthydra8355well yeah he is a sweat, but as u probably know dealing w sweats is annoying just cause he’s good doesn’t mean he wants to deal w sweats either that he doesn’t know if they r cheating he prob just wants to have fun and that includes dodging sweats, and cheaters to have fun, before the update if u saw a sweaty username and stayed its on u for deciding not to dodge that lobby by putting this update in it makes doing so impossible for anyone to dodge when seeing a sweat stopping people from avoiding playing against players like him and many others at least that’s what I got from the vid
@@dissatisfaxion true but dodging is kkind of stupid to begin with, ur literally just farming offofeasy players. think of it in their positoin, they literally cant do anything against you if you are a sweat. it made fkdr and stats easy to get if oyu just farmed off of easy lobbies. with this stats are skill based.

hypixel wont be reverting this the whole reason they did this was simply cause people dodged to much casing ques to never fill , and u say if u wanna play ranked u would ranked is a private game hypixel always intended for the gameto just be played with out dodging to avoied people its people who have gotten too used to dodging sweats who hate the update if u dont like fighting sweats just get better or quit

I played for a few hours yesterday and I haven't fought a single cheater while in a full nicked party, there were more emerald rushers, but I personally think that bedwars is more fun now. If you're losing, it's more likely to be someone better than you and not someone who's cheating(unless you had a big winstreak before the update) because there's pretty much no reason to snipe unless you're on an alt with high stats or on a winstreak.
No, this update isn't going to kill Bedwars. Can we please stop overreacting about everything? Like, yes, it's a bad update but come on.
the three minute queue times, the fact that every mode dropped about 100-200 players, and the outrage in lobby 1 speaks for themselves

As someone who has not logged onto their main in 3 months, this update genuinely sucks and will kill the game if they don't revert it back.
Finally noone will actually queue select! That was SO annoying!!
This is enough to make me quit the game mode indefinitely. Even if I party with someone I wouldn't even know we was playing together because of this which makes it pointless
whats interesting is it becomes a lot more friendly to new players. not worrying about one sweat. Its honestly better for the community but not for specific people. (im 500 star) people high enough star "casually" playing with new players is often a bad experience for both parties more equal matchmaking can be an attempt to fix a problem. No matter what skill based match making is near impossible when many people play to beat noobs so new accounts are created. But hypixel is making an attempt to fix the game which is what matters. still ur #1 fan fr

i really like the update since q dodging is so cringe if ur bad then suck it up and lose the game
the thing is now a single game of bedwars will be endless sweating (practically all teams are gonna be parties). Constant pearls, invis, bridge eggs, fireballs from every single team playing like they have to win the game to survive. It's gonna become a carbon copy of the bedwars tournament. Besides, almost everyone wants to play the game for FUN. Having to deal with snipers, cheaters and half the game being sweats with no way to avoid that is UNFUN. This just encourages more people to closet cheat, find bypasses for overlays to work, and worse.
tldr: fighting sweaty parties is fun when it's occasional, but if every game is the same, then it isn't.
@@ZeKingSG well in my opinion i think that this is how bedwars was intended to be played. eg when u started playing bedwars at a low skill lvl u were trying hard and spaminng fireballs and stuff. pre-update u were queue dodging and grinding winstreaks cuz all those ppl seem like ai. now ur fighting ppl ur skill which makes the game more exciting. also stats are just a number, and it doesnt matter too much. ur stats arent even that great tbh if ur below 40 fkdr thats mid asf u shouldnt care. fighting cheaters, especially closet cheaters will make u better at the game cuz with a decent team and good gamesense u can beat them. also wizins is an rbw player so he has the actual skill to beat these players idk if u do lol no offense

As a washed 1000 star player I don’t really mind the skill based match making, but if games take a millennium to start and could potentially last a millennium. At this rate imma just continue to not play

I think the meaning of it is actually prevent sweats just constantly snipe someone while other normal newbie just try to learn the game and try it out , the sweats will just fastly take them out every game so they didnt enjoy it , leading the population of bedwars even hypixel dicrease , i think its what it meant to be , but so far i seems that this undate is self-defeating??? This update sucks so bad
they almost compleatly kill snipeing because no overlays, u need to be high star to snipe high star, and you cant see when someones joined/ started / ended a game so ig that could be a upside
The upside comes at the cost of losing every high star player that wants to enjoy the game casually instead of sweating their balls off just to be able to win once. It'll be exactly like tournament bedwars, with the bridging to height limit, obbying every game, and pushing to bed break.
@@ZeKingSG yea and sniping isnt that bad as is most ws'ers are cheating anyway. + hypixel is testing a anticheat that will almost destroy all bhoping snipers so they could have just waited for that
+ if a cheater or sniper is in your game you cant dodge him so hypixel tried to avoid sniping but its not a functional solution

cant even lie, sweats were already in the game, you cant take em out, they just made it so sniping isnt really a thing anymore
except it kinda still is, since snipers and random cheaters can still queue you. A lot of overlays show the chance of there being a sniper/cheater so you can either be prepared to fight them or avoid having to take cheaters literally every game (a good amount of the high level ppl have already stated they were gonna start closeting if they were to play this game now).
@@ZeKingSG ive played like 10 games and they have all been bot lobbies with no cheaters. I think it just makes winstreaks and stats more respected. Only like 2 300 star parties but nothing else i had to use my brain for.
