YES, another bootstrap challenge! Been watching Tabarnouche Interplanetary building a Cynabal challenge and love it. Couple tips that you may already know... The loot drops in the belts are WAY more common, close to 100% - the combat sites are terrible for drops. Also, fixing, rather than scrapping and rebuilding your corvette, is free and quicker as long as non of your modules (or drones) are damaged.
Do-It-Yourself style challenges are always fun. I still have a DIY omega character with a little looser restrictions than you are using, but still zero player interaction (market or otherwise). It is extremely satisfying to make your own stuff from scratch, just like it was back in 2003!
You can repair your corvette for 0 cost in npc stations. Also tether up at player stations you have docking rights for repair. Both only repair the ship, Not the modules
How do you build anything if you dont mine and you cant buy ore? Thus should be fun to watch! Great idea there is another bootstrap playthrough i have been watching off and on. Very interrsting idea. Ahh ok you can reprocess that makes sense. This will be very fun to watch!
Great video, I'm a 2 month old player and just realized that we can buy blueprints from NPC. Never really had the chance to know that as ammos and ships are super easy to aquire in the market.
Other things I learned just from this video : Double click to align to a direction in space. The "stack all" icon exists. Hybrid turret : use both cap and ammos.
@@CadePlaysGames Thank you for keeping this habit, it really helped me bridge the numerous knowledge gap here and there. My new player experience is like, here's 20m isk, 1m sp, and some ships, go do exploration and do abyss to make more money from now on. You are absolutely correct about new player being spoiled, I never had the chance to "start from scratch" and learn the progression of the game. This series changed my perception toward this game, and I feel it's more enjoyable now.
@@daidaijr6598 I find that to be true in many different games; challenge runs really push you to think differently. The smallest mechanics of the game suddenly become either huge obstacles or extremely valuable concepts! 🤔😎
I was playing the game a while back with very similar rules as this, but I would allow myself to mine. My rule for mining was that I could only do it with an actual mining ship, such as a venture or a mining barge. Of course, I had to build the Venture myself and all the ship mods.
Busy doing more or less the same thing with a faction warfare character. A bit more lenient on the dailies and mining. Found that moving to constructing cruisers is a big step up. I can sell to other players but not buy from them.
Yes they got removed/rolled into the Opportunities UI > Daily Goals. You do 2 of the 4 available tasks on any given day to advance the tracker by one bar. Every 3rd day you get the bonus rewards. Doing 3 or 4 tasks will not advance you any more than one bar per day. Rewards re-set every 30 days.

@@CadePlaysGames :D nice subbed been thinking about getting back into eve I played it on and off a few times. and may have enough isk to plex laying around not sure lol but I also want to see how plausible it is to grind for isk to plex account lol because previously I bought it
@@ojgaming2573 Isk for plex is much cheaper if you buy more than one month at a time. One month of Omega is 500 is plex and plex right now are around 5million isk each so that's 2.5billion every 30 days and that's a heck of a grind. But if you buy the bulk deals then it's significantly cheaper. The 3-month bulk buy is only 1,200 plex instead of 15,00 so that's saving you 100 plex a month (taking the isk down to 2billion a month). Each pack above that gets cheaper and cheaper all the way up to the 24-month pack at 6,600 plex instead of 12,000 which works out at 275 plex a month (1.375billion isk) which is a 45% saving. You can make decent isk as an Alpha free-to-play account, then just save up and get one of those bulk deals.
@@CadePlaysGames good to know. i was thinking about this weekend checking to see if I had enough for 1 month then spend a couple weeks relearning the game before using it ( wasn't sure if it was faster to farm isk with omega (I know use to it was because of better ships/miners.) then I was going to try and save as much as I can. but may be better to just save it until I can get a pack
You should consider flagging the wrecks as "free for all" if you don't want to salvage them. Everybody should do this, so others can use the stuff without getting flagged for PVP.
Gosh I love finding current Eve content. Thanks so much!
there isnt enough around now days

I like a good challenge series. Thanks random RUclips recommendation
Interesting challenge .... Look forward to see how it goes.

Love the eve challenges. Gives me more ideas on how to freshen up the game. Keep it up and fly safe o7

Tether will fix up damaged modules and drones, but not 100% broken modules.😎

OMG and you can drag the skill into the queue... I've been using the + button and drag it from bottom to top for several dozen times...
Yeah we have lots of little hints and tips here(!)
I try to keep things rookie friendly so I'll mention them ALL THE TIME. 😎🤣

Should be every Tuesday 👍

OMG the amount of free stuff... I quit back in the day when learning skills were disabled.
Rookies get showered with stuff these days.
It's not quite as bad as some other MMOs, but it's certainly getting up there lol. 🤣
fun, may the loot gods be kind to you lol :)
nice vid, almost made me want to start playing again
Welcome aboard!

I'll be sending everyone over to your channel.

Nah, I'm not going as deep as he is. I'm just playing around the edges of ironman EVE.
