Part of me still prefers Shadow's battle against Vegeta because I love the banter more than just seeing the action with a pre-character arc Ryuko. Also, wanna hear something funny? All of Mewtwo's opponents from that one not very good sheet with the second-worst episode of all time eventually won an episode. Shadow defeated Ryuko. Archie Silver defeated Xeno Trunks. And Frieza defeated Megatron. I wonder how weirded out Mewtwo feels hearing about it.
@@HellboyBr11 Here’s the thing: Season 1 of Death Battle was Ben Singer doing everything himself: writing a script, voicing Wiz, gathering all the footage he needed, animating the fight. It’s not like current Death Battle, which has a team of researchers, animators, editors and composers no Ben was on his own. And he has admitted during Season 1 he had no idea what he was doing.

As a longtime Sonic fan I was surprised but happy to see Shadow finally win one fight after losing to Vegeta and Mewtwo
