Hey skippy, I think it's better to Q (Hold fire) your AVRE. Cause if it isn't on hold fire, its machinegun will fire, causing your AVRE's location to be revealed prematurely and when retreating.

Always have found it hard to mantain buildings for long against germans, all they need is 2 mortars that come to you from different direction and any mortar pit will fall in a few minutes
Sometimes you get tempted to remind yourself the hard way
Yeah…. Because the mortar-pit player won’t counter the German mortars and just let his stupid pit die 😑
@@d4r1us58 really tho if you aren't lazy like me who wouldn't bother to put two mortars in two different directions mortar pits stand no chance even with the heavy HE barrage. All you got to do is relocate one of the mortars and the other will still constantly pump damage.
@@d4r1us58 sure you can try to flank and kill/steal the mortar but that heavily depends on a map and the amount of control enemy has + is he orders his mortars to shot AND attacks you at the same time there's a high chance you won't notice it until your mortar pit will be nearly dead
@@d4r1us58 Bruh 2 mortars will easily deal with a mortar pit and they cost less as well

That's why I use Tank-Hunter doctrine whenever playing UKF against Axis. I know my armor will be useless against basic swarms of Stug III, Axis P4 & Panther. Infantry with Boys AT supported by halftrack can help my tanks movement

Mechanized infantry combined with tank squads is doctrinal since WW2. Sadly it is so underrepresented in CoH2.

I am glad you got punished for that sim city. :D You deserved it, but the rest of the match was great! Infantry section artillery flares and lieutenant abillities are great way to counter german mgs in the beggining.
Big waste of munitions which prolongs you equipping STEN's. Although only Lieutanant works, yeah
Ha, I remember this game. My team and I kinda threw it - but it was a gg nevertheless. We should do a rematch sometime - I know the guys will be up for it.
Why players are so salty and tryharding in such old game. There's literally no reward for winning or having high rank
