News on the Dark Matter Antarctic Experiment was very interesting and the upcoming launch is exciting. Looking forward to an update in the near future.
“Production mechanism: When dark matter particles collide and annihilate, they can produce a variety of secondary particles, including antiprotons and antineutrons, which can then combine to form anti-deuterons through a process called "coalescence."
Relativistic dilation perfectly explains dark matter/galaxy rotation curves. Mass that is dilated is smeared through spacetime relative to an outside observer. It's what our high school teachers were talking about when they said "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light". A graph illustrates its squared nature, it increases at an exponential rate the closer you get to the speed of light. Time dilation is just one aspect of dilation. It occurs wherever there is an astronomical quantity of mass. This includes the centers of very high mass stars and the overwhelming majority of galaxy centers. The mass at the center of our own galaxy is dilated. This means that there is no valid XYZ coordinate we can attribute to it, you can't point your finger at something that is smeared through spacetime. In other words that mass is all around us. Dilation does not occur in galaxies with low mass centers because they do not have enough mass to achieve relativistic velocities. It has been confirmed in 6 ultra diffuse galaxies including NGC 1052-DF2 and DF4 to have no dark matter. In other words they have normal rotation rates.
It is great that Jeff is part of the team looking for evidence of dark matter. Is there any evidence of significant dark matter orbiting our sun or being inside the sun or planets? I would think there would be an upper limit to the amount of clumped dark matter or else the spacecrafts sent to planets would deviate from planned courses.
How do we know that the Dark Matter isn't just apparent due to the inherent shape of space-time itself -- i.e., something like a dimple on a golf ball, that is not caused by the presence of mass/energy within the local space-time, but is the natural, unaltered curvature of space-time in that location? Also, if it is caused by matter, how do we know it isn't the cumulative gravitational effect of all the virtual particles that are continuously popping in and out of existence in the vacuum?
The logic of ‘this would be more work and take orders of magnitude so let’s lock in a more rudimentary approach that is closer to our current understanding’ - is the least scientific thing I’ve heard in a while. Of course the model of gravity is wrong. If it weren’t, you’d have the answers you lack. 🤦
Great video, congratulations … the mystery of dark matter has already been solved ...This other video teaches new physics, hidden variables to study gravity, a demonstration of the non-existence of dark matter ruclips.net/video/b5TU-YJrMVE/видео.html

It would be totally cool if Dr. Jeff is part of the team that make this elusive discovery. Be safe and watch out for the penguin droppings.

I said that one place to look for magnetic monopoles, if they exist, would be the magnetic poles of the earth.
Don't forget to degomble before you go in to eat your hoosh!
What do antideuterons have to do with dark matter?
What are those measurements in metric?
