Shoemaking | Part 5 | The edge

We are now at part 5 of the series. The pink derby is almost done, one more video left and after we go to another project! This part is about the edge finish, it's a lot of sanding to smooth the surface of the edge, then I use a dry iron to a close the fiber and shape the edge. Sand paper again, to smooth it more and make it ready for the dye, then I apply the wax and smooth it with an iron. The next video will be the finishing of the sole and the "bichonnage" :D
