Found this quite good and enjoyable to watch. Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, poor *audio* quality (more than that of the _video_ that others complained about) made it difficult to make-out dialogue. Are we to understand that you, the uploader 'Magic Mansell' played The Artful Dodger? How old were you?
Accidently turned off comments after changing video picture! This is Defo Oldie!, 2001!, but in my opinion.. of every amatuer and professional production I've been involved in, This Is A Goldie!! 🤙UK amatuer productions at its Best 👍
Please tell the boy playing Dodger to slow down his lines so that the audience can get the punch lines. Like when he says “come to think of it… (pause scratch head) I don’t got no intimate friends”. It’s all in the delivery. You may have memorized all your lines but then you have to deliver it successfully.
I only uploaded to capsulise this as a memory, Ur words were so kind at posting, And So Right!! Mate, How many Amatuer productions pulled this off so well, Thank You! Dodger 🤘
You won’t find Monks in the stage script version of Oliver! He is a fantastic character of Dickens. The director does have liberty in staging the production & can add Monks in. This particular show added at the very beginning the birth of Oliver. A lot of productions skip over that aspect. When The Beadle asks for Oliver’s name & everyone responds “Olll - lliii - veer”, Mr Beadle usually responds “Oliver?” to which she responds “yes Oliver. You named him yourself”. So the point is that every show is somewhat different & the director has latitude on telling the tale & getting the jist of things across to the audience
I realize this is a good 20 years later but…. This is a really good production of Oliver! All actors did a great job in portraying their characters
Haha, shud av added non American amatuer production!

Perceptive
anyone a little confused why no one clapped for bows and they were screamed at to stand back so the curtain would fall ?
Dress Rehearsal Pal👍Wasn't allowed to film the Live Show 🤙
Fagin’s “Reviewing the Situation” is a showstopper! That actor did one of the best interpretations of Fagin
Thanks pal, involved with professional and amatuer productions, This was by far! my favourate amatuer production, Dodger 🤙
@@magicmansell ahh my friend … your reply a year later on a Friday night might just force me to watch your show of Oliver again. 😂😂

@@magicmansell not many at all pull it off so well… and I’ve seen plenty. Cheers!
Great but to bad, same on the "Oliver!" 1968's movie we not see Monks,my favourite character from the "Oliver Twist" novel, singing.
Hey that doesn’t really make sense also you’re not spelling favorite right
